| Journal Description : | Revista de Economia, edited by the Economics Department of the Federal University of Paraná since 1960, is the second most long-lived Brazilian economics journal. The journal, a theoretically and methodologically plural publication, welcomes theoretical, historical, and empirical articles, aiming at the dissemination of scientific knowledge through the publication of original studies that expand the research frontiers on the several areas of economics.
Articles submitted for journal consideration initially undergo editor screening, at which point the manuscript is judged according to the journal’s scope and formatting instructions. If the manuscript fails to meet these conditions, it may be subjected to desk rejection. Otherwise, the manuscript is forwarded to anonymous referees, specialists on the subject of the study. Once this process is completed, the referees’ reviews are made available to the authors.
