This journal would be published on triannual basis (January, May and September) by the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons. World Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery encourages submissions from the authors throughout the world. All articles published in World Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery would be critically reviewed by the editor and members of the editorial exam or advisory board of the journal within 2 months. However, longer delays are sometimes unavoidable. Full details may be found in the section of Instructions to Authors and all submitted manuscripts must comply with these instructions. World Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery provides an in-depth, international forum for the most authoritative information on major clinical problems in the fields of clinical and experimental minimal access surgery. The global scenario of laparoscopic education and research has been emphasized in prospect of recent advances in minimal access surgery. The aim of this journal is to encourage the international surgeons, gynecologists, urologists and pediatric surgeon to give their valuable contributions from recognized authorities on every topic of current importance in minimal access surgery. World Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery rapidly publishes original articles that offer significant contributions in the fields of clinical minimal access surgery, experimental laparoscopic surgery and related sciences ofendoscopy.
The World Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery accepts nine types of articles which include the following:
