| Journal Description : | The Aurora Journal was created during the second half of 2007. Its first edition came in December 2007. The journal is coordinated by students of the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences of UNESP-Marilia.
With three sections: Dossier, Miscellany and Special Section, the journal seeks to create more space for the discussion of both classical and contemporary themes, seeking the constant promotion of dialogue between areas of knowledge of the Social Sciences. The Aurora Journal is not, therefore, characterized as a "departmental journal", but rather opens up space for the interdisciplinary debate present in the four research lines of the UNESP-Marilia Post-Graduation Program, which are: Line 1: Social Thought and Public Policy; Line 2: Culture, Identity and Memory; Line 3: Work, and Sociability; Line 4: International Relations and Development.
Committed with social criticism, a critical and innovative reflection on social issues and pluralism in the field of research of Social Sciences, the Aurora Magazine is open to researchers, teachers and students from any universities and research institutes in Brazil and abroad.
