| Journal Description : | Since January 2019, the Medical Education Unit (MEU) of the North Bengal Medical College is publishing an undergraduate students’ journal titled ‘The Journal of Undergraduate Medical Research’ (JUMR). The journal, an easily accessible, peer-reviewed journal, a first of its kind in West Bengal, India, attempts to provide a platform for undergraduate medical students, for publication and wider dissemination of original research undertaken by them during their undergraduate years. In addition the journal also considers for publication brief research articles, special articles, case reports and letters to editor from them. Review articles and editorials, of importance to the undergraduate medical students, are welcome from students, faculty and all practitioners of modern medicine for publication in the journal. In addition to the printed version, the journal is also available online at jumr.co.in. |
