| Journal Description : | The journal of Geography and Environmental Sustainability (GES) is an international peer-reviewed open-access quarterly journal in Persian (with English abstracts) devoted to the field of geography and environmental sustainability. The journal of GES is published by Razi University and the Iranian Association of Geomorphology. It is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of original articles, review articles, etc., considering the research ethics and academic rules and regulations.
GES publishes original, innovative, interdisciplinary, and timely research articles and concise reviews on scientific studies of the Earth, geography, and environmental sustainability. This goal covers a broad spectrum of research areas (such as economic-, physical-, social-, cultural geography, environmental sciences, and sustainable development) and also considers contemporary and widely used research methods, such as geoinformatics, geophysics, geochemistry, cartography, remote sensing (including from space), etc. GES is the only journal in the field of geography and environmental sustainability published in Iran.
All papers are subject to a double-blind reviewing process. The submitted manuscripts will be published after a thorough review and the editorial board's approval. Researchers are highly appreciated if they visit this website, register, submit and set up their papers based on the Instructions to Authors. Therefore, visiting in person or calling the journal office is not recommended, so all connections with authors and reviewers are made through the website.
