The journal is open access and peer-reviewed. We receive manuscripts from all biomedical areas uninterruptedly within the following sections: Original Manuscripts, Case Reports, Literature Reviews, Ethical Reflections, Letters to the Editor, Medical Images, among others.
The publication of the journal is semiannual, in our last annual evaluation of the LILACS base, we obtained a score of 100/100 points. We are indexed to Latindex and RedIb (Ibero-American Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge).
Our editorial board for the most part are health professionals with an academic degree of PhD.
