Journal Description :Motaleate Shahri is an open access peer-reviewed journal for scholarship. It is published quarterly both electronically and in print by the University of Kurdistan, Iran. Its publication has started since 2011. We invite contributions of original and high-quality submissions that help us better understand the urban environment and the rapid changes that are occurring in cities and regions. Contributions from a wide range of social science disciplines are encouraged, and they should increase empirical and theoretical knowledge of the city and its region from both positive and normative viewpoints. Motaleate Shahri has been indexed in the well-known databases such as ISC? Google Scholar? Portal of Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, National Archives and Library of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Regional Science and Technology Information Center, Jihad Daneshgahi Scientific Database (SID), National Digital Archive of Iranian Scientific Journals, Comprehensive Portal of Humanities, Bank Information of country publications (Magiran), Noor specialized magazines database and Civilica. Motaleate Shahri is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC- By 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display and make derivative works only if they cite the original published articles. Publication authorization is certified by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance (No. 88/10459; 10 Jan. 2010). Motaleate Shahri has also been approved to be indexed in Ministry of Science, Research and Technology as Scientific-Research Publication according to letter No. 161927 dated by 13 Nov. 2011. Motaleate Shahri is published by University of Kurdistan.
