It aims to publish scientific research such as papers, book reviews and symposium reviews on religious studies and to share these studies with public. (Article acceptance dates: January 1 - March 1 for the 30 June issue; July 1 - November 15 for the 30 December issue) Marifetname aims to publish and share with the public works such as articles, book reviews and symposium evaluations in the field of religious studies.
Marifetname is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Theology of Siirt University 2 times a year, between June and December. Marifetname, an academic journal, aims to contribute to the accumulation of knowledge in the field of theology and social sciences by publishing works with scientific qualifications at the national and international levels. The publication language of the journal is Turkish. Arabic English and scientific works are also published.
Articles submitted for publication are subject to a double-sided blind peer review by at least two reviewers. In addition, through a special program used to detect plagiarism, it is confirmed that the articles have not been published before and do not contain plagiarism.
The Scope of the Journal:
Basic Islamic Sciences: The Quran, Hadith, Exegesis, Islamic Jurisprudence, Kalam, History of Islamic Sects, Sufism, and Arabic Language and Literature; Philosophy and Religious Sciences: Islamic Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Logic, Psychology of Religion, Sociology of Religion, Education of Religion, and History of Religions; Islamic History and Arts: Islamic History, History of Islamic Arts, Turkish-Islamic Literature, and Religious Music. |
