| Journal Description : | Horizons - International Scientific Journal (HISJ) is an annual (one issue per year), international, interdisciplinary, open-access, and peer-reviewed journal published by the University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola (North Macedonia), which is divided into two sections - A and B.
A Section of the journal publishes articles from social sciences and humanities, while B Section publishes articles from natural sciences and mathematics, engineering and technology, biotechnology, medicine, and health sciences. The journal also encourages the publication of occasional special issues.
The journal HISJ made its debut in 2005, marking the beginning of a transformative publication that would shape the future of scholarly discourse. Through the pages of HISJ, researchers and scholars found a platform to disseminate their findings, share their expertise, and contribute to the advancement of their respective fields. Since 2011, HISJ gained its international character. By transforming the journal into an international one, the processes of internationalization became deeper and the cooperation with other universities worldwide became stronger. The international editorial board consisting of eminent professors and researchers from all around the world is significant proof that this journal became widely recognized.
The journal aims to promote interdisciplinary research and collaboration among researchers from different fields, both nationally and internationally. The scope of the journal is broad, covering a wide range of topics in various fields. |
