Journal Description :PLURAL – Journal of Psychology UNESP Bauru is a scientific journal linked to the Psychology Department of the Faculty of Sciences of the São Paulo State University (Unesp), Bauru campus. Its editorial line consists of publishing original Psychology texts in its various areas, considering their interfaces, recognizing the diversity of psychological phenomena, their approaches and the fields of reality in which they affect. The magazine is committed to fostering interdisciplinarity, critical reflection on theories and practices in these fields, as well as producing a systematized body of knowledge in tune with social demands and the promotion of knowledge. The specific areas for publication are: Psychology and Education: articles in the areas of Developmental and Learning Psychology, School Psychology and Educational Psychology that investigate or discuss socio-educational and/or educational processes. Psychology and Health: articles in the areas of Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Hospital Psychology, Psychological Assessment, Prevention and Psychological Treatment that investigate or discuss the relationship between individuals or groups on topics related to psychosocial aspects and processes in the most varied study settings and of intervention. Psychology and Society: articles in the various areas of Social Psychology, as well as their interfaces with the human and social sciences. Investigate or discuss interpersonal, class, group processes, social structures, social roles, identification processes, ethnic-racial and gender relations in the constitution of identities and promotion of citizenship and human rights. It considers the processes of subjectivation in their socio-cultural and political-economic contexts. Psychology and Work: articles that present results of research and interventions covering the relationship established between human beings, work and the organization, as well as the resonances felt individually, collectively and socially as a result of such relationship (namely: quality of life at work, workers' health, psychosocial risk factors or factors that promote professional development, organizational behavior, people management policies and practices, organizational phenomena, etc.). Also research and interventions in the areas of Professional and Career Guidance that investigate or discuss psychosocial processes in the context of work, education for work and organizations. History and Philosophy of Psychology: theoretical-conceptual articles on the historical and philosophical foundations of psychology, as well as on the interface with the history or philosophy of science in its approach to psychological processes, subjectivation, science or phenomenology. Basic Research in Psychology: articles with original empirical research that study mental and behavioral processes, including: sense-perception, motricity, motivation, emotion, memory, cognition, personality, language and learning. It also includes its interfaces with Biological Sciences and Neurosciences. Psychology and Humanities: articles that address psychological phenomena and processes of subjectivation in the interface with areas of the humanities linked to Arts, Literature, Design and Communication, considering symbolic formations and specific sociocultural scopes in their aesthetic, semiotic and ethical-political mediations.
