The term Green Marketing is the buzzword used in industry which is used to describe business activities which attempt to reduce the negative effect of the products/services offered by the company to make it environmentally friendly. World-wide evidence indicates that people are becoming concerned about the environment and are changing their behaviour accordingly. As a result, there is a growing market for sustainable and socially responsible products and services. When all else is equal – quality, price, performance and availability – environmental benefit will most likely tip the balance in favour of a product. Environment friendly, so called green marketing has become a discussed subject and companies are constantly trying to find the best ways to reach the customers with their green message. Customers are becoming more demanding and they have started to pay more attention to the environment. What is important with brands is how customers perceive them, what the image of the brand is. The aim of this study is to find out how consumer behaviour is influenced by Green Marketing by Companies. This paper is an attempt to understand awareness of consumers' towards green marketing and green branding along with exploring the concept of green marketing.

The main goal of steganography is to hide information well. In other words Steganography is the science that involves communicating secret data in an appropriate multimedia carrier, e.g., image, audio, and video files . The aim is to conceal the very existence of the embedded data .In today's world the art of sending & displaying the hidden information especially in public places, has received more attention and faced many challenges. Steganography's ultimate objectives, which are undetectability, robustness (resistance to various image processing methods and compression) and capacity of the hidden data, are the main factors that separate it from related techniques such as watermarking and cryptography. It is well known that encryption provides secure channels for communicating entities. However, due to lack of covertness on these channels, an unauthorized user can easily identify encrypted streams through statistical tests and capture them for further cryptanalysis. In cryptography, the individuals notice the information by seeing the coded information but they will not be able to comprehend the information. However, in steganography, the existence of the information in the sources will not be noticed at all. Most steganography jobs have been carried out on images, video clips ,texts, music and sounds. Therefore, different methods have been proposed so far for hiding information in different cover media. This method can be used for displaying a secret message in public domains which are accessed by any body.

He has been excessively praised as well as excessively abused. He has often been criticized as a sex manic and his novels are condemned for being formals. An autobiographical note runs through almost all his novels. He was a tortured soul for full forty five years of his life and his writing express his inner suffering, frustration and emotional stress and complexes. Lawrence is said to have been making a Cathartic efforts while writing all this in his novels.

Quality of drinking water has always been considered important in public health paradigm. Provision of potable water to people is necessary in assuring health as well as prevention of spreading of water born diseases. Treatment of water is traditional practice in public distribution system in cities and towns all over the world. Kolhapur is industrial, educational and cultural city in the Western Maharashtra getting considerable rise in population each year. Water supply to citizens is through pumping stations located at outskirts of the city which are looked after by Municipal Corporation. Various characteristics like pH, turbidity with other chemical characteristics which are important for drinking water were analyzed for six months continuously. Samples from inlet and outlet were taken for analysis to check the efficiency of the WTPs. Further tap water analysis was also carried out to asses any influence of piped water distribution. All plants are seen to be efficient in terms of drinking water limits prescribed by different agencies with indication of requirement of supplementary water treatment with provision of advanced technology while considering the rising population of the city. The results obtained about drinking water characteristics are discussed in the paper.

Based on Vedic faith, Manusmrithi and culture, the castes were formulated according to the occupations. According to ancient Hindu faith many of the castes were regarded as lower and others are higher. The lower castes include the backward communities with lower occupations and people living in forests and have ancient occupations. The term 'Adivasi' is derived from Sanskrit word 'atavika' means forest dwellers. They are also called as Vanavasi or Girijans (hilly people).

The aim of the present study is to examine the Psychological Well-being among HIV+ve and HIV TB coinfected samples selected from Gulbarga. The Sample consists of 80, 40 HIV +ve samples ( 20 male+ 20 female) and 40 HIV TB co-infected ( 20 male+ 20 female). The sample was administered with Psychological Well-being scale. And the data were subjected the t-test. The results revealed that there is a significant difference in Psychological well-being between HIV positive and HIV TB co-infected samples. The sample is matched for gender and diseases.

We therefore have to take the valuable advice of our sages, Rishis and scriptures and try to live religion in the true sense of the term.

The development of morphometric techniques was a major advance in the quantitative description of the geometry of the drainage basins and its network. Watershed prioritization on the basis of morphometric parameters is necessary in order to develop a sustainable watershed management plan. The present study aims to assess the linear and shape morphometric parameters and prioritization of twenty three sub-watersheds of Yerala river basin for soil resource management. Yerala river basin has an area of 3041 km2 and lies between in 160 55' to 170 28' North and 740 20' to 740 40' East Longitude in Satara and Sangli districts. Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information System (GIS) techniques and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission Digital Elevation Model (SRTM DEM) data was used for evaluation of morphometric parameters. Watershed boundary has been prepared using Arc- Hydro Tool. The prioritization was carried out by assigning ranks to the individual indicators and a compound value was calculated. Watersheds with highest compound value were of low priority while those with lowest compound value were of high priority. The highest priority zone consists of eight watersheds, medium of eleven and low of four watersheds. High priority indicates that watersheds are much more susceptible to soil erosion hence it should be provide with immediate soil resource management measures.

The retail sector in India is witnessing a huge revamping exercise as traditional markets make way for new formats like large organized multi-branded stores, discount store formats and specialty stores. With increasing competition, retailers strive to ensure that their stores are appealing to their target markets. As retailers are finding it increasingly difficult to create a differential advantage on the basis of merchandise alone, the store itself plays an important role for market differentiation. Various empirical studies have identified seven factors that influences the buying behavior of apparel buyers' such as: recreational and shopping conscious, favorable attitude towards urban shopping environment, enjoy shopping, price conscious, comparison shopping/ complainer, perfectionist, high quality conscious. Thus, the retailers marketing strategists has to concentrate on the seven factors so as to attract the migrant rural population or out shoppers.

Migration trend in the coastal belt of Kanyakumari has taken a great boost due to the bad effect of tsunami.

Urban bus system is considered as one the most important public transportation systems. In designing such a system, it is needed that several objectives -some of which are contradictory - to be considered simultaneously. These objectives cause doing the design to face some problems. For an example, the routs which are designed for decreasing trip time may not have the highest accessibility. That is the reason why we need to consider different issues simultaneously to reach the optimal design. In this article, using GIS capabilities which are extant in its softwares , a new model for the optimal designing of the urban buses network is presented. The above mentioned model is founded considering several main objectives. For example, we can refer to opitmalization of number of travellers and also the decrease in trip time. The rest of the objectives are discussed in the third part of this article. The presented model is based on the matrix of urban blocks distribution, the method of its extraction is explained in this article. After extracting the matrix of distribution of trip between urban blocks, and allotting it to the urban paths, we have used the capabilities of GIS network to design the lines. Using this method, we can design of the urban buses' path by considering several main objectives simultaneously.

Efficient health-care delivery systems become the domain of health-care management. It also includes health planning in which improved health services are to be planned and executed. In India there is non availability and misdistribution of health-care resources in different areas of region. Medical health care is the most important need of man and it's a need of every poor, illiterate tribal of the regions like Dhadgaon tahsil. The infrastructure facilities are not sufficient in the study region. Dhadgaon tahsil under study is a peculiar area with distinct physical setting and socio-economic condition and it is mountainous and inhabited by the different tribal groups. In relation with the problems of the research the objectives of the present study is to search the inequalities of infrastructure facilities. Data regarding health-care facilities are obtained from the primary and sub-primary health centres of the tahsil through structural Questionnaires . The buildings OPD, x-rays lab, medical store, wards ,beds, operation theaters, vehicles, delivery rooms & staff quarters should be provided to all the primary health centres. These amenities are not provided in satisfactory condition..

For, Nirbhaya's story doesn't tell women to dread the world because beasts lurk in it, behind trees, beyond each bend, in vehicles with dark windows. It enjoins us to remake the world so that every member of a long-oppressed sorority can trust it as a guarantor of equality, security and justice. Our freedom is only half-won unless Nirbhaya's sisters can walk on the road on a winter night, board the bus that comes along, and find their way home - the way Nirbhaya hoped to.

M.C.Rajah , a prominent Dalit leader of South India emerged even before the rise of B.R.Ambedkar as national leader. Certainly, he was a pioneer to B.R.Ambedkar in the socio-political renaissance movement of the Depressed Classes in the first half of the Twentieth Century. He was the architect of the Rajah-Moonji pact which once he thought that it would solve the woes of the Depressed Classes and they would attain social equality in par with caste Hindus in the passage of time. This fact favoured joint electorates for Depressed Classes. Like this Pact, Poona Pact, signed between Gandhi and Ambedkar also favoued joint electorates for Depressed Classes. Hence the Rajah-Moonje Pact was a precursor for the Poona Pact, the Magna Carta of Depressed Classes. M.C.Rajah who had been fervently criticizing Gandhi and Congress party throughout his political career suddenly became moderate towards them in the wake of Round Table Conferences. When Mahatma Gandhi christened the Depressed Class as 'Harijans', it was M.C.Rajah who directly quarreled against Gandhi, and refused to accept the term 'Harijan'. When Gandhi claimed that he was the only champion to safeguard the rights of Harijans, Both M.C.Rajah and B.R.Ambedkar were the front rank leaders of India who laid firm foundation for the elevation of Depressed Classes in India. They were the 'Messiahs of the lakhs and lakhs of the Depressed Class population'.

This study investigated secondary students' conceptual difficulties in Sold states . In solid states students learn the different possible arrangement of particles in solids, correlation between the nature of interactions within the constituents particles and properties of solids and structural imperfections due to present of impurities . The sample consists of sixty students randomly selected from private English medium school affiliated to Central Board of secondary Education . A test instrument on conceptual difficulties in solid stated (SSCT) was designed and used in collecting data for the study. TSS was validated by experienced lecturers and chemistry teachers in the field. A pilot test was carried out to establish its reliability coefficient and with the use of test re-test method, the correlation coefficient was found to be r = 0.86. The results of the analysis showed that; the students have high level of understanding concepts tested by 82% of the items in solid state. Based on the findings; some recommendations were made on how to improve the learning and understanding of concepts in electrochemistry.

A content analysis of Indian newspapers coverage of the Tibetan issue on autonomy This study analyzed how the Tibetan issues on autonomy were framed by the Indian newspapers. By using content analysis the study concluded Indian foreign policy was an external factor influencing the Indian newspapers coverage of the autonomy of Tibet. In short, Indian newspapers chose a fact or set a news frame reflecting Indian foreign policy toward Tibetan autonomy.

The present study tries to know the use of library resources and services by UG Students of NIT, Kurukshetra. On the basis of the streams, 141 students were selected with the help of Stratified Sampling. The study highlights that the students visit the Library mainly for preparation of their course work and assignments (83.68%), examinations notes and tests (66.66%), preparation for workshops (39.71%) and tutorial presentations (16.31%). Maximum students considered that library collections (86.5%) fulfill their needs. Maximum students i.e. 61.7% used photocopying service followed by reference services (37.6%), current awareness services (31.2%) and circulation services (21.3%). Majority of the students visit the library for getting books (80.9%) followed by using periodicals (34.0%), reference materials (31.2%) and to read newspapers (30.5%) as source of information. Among the documentary Sources, first preference was given to text books (70.2%) followed by reference books (43.2%), Newspapers and its clippings (17.7%), Current Journals (14.2%), Back Volumes of the Journals (12.0%) and Thesis/Dissertations etc. (8.5%). The students faced some difficulties to acquire information such as lack of time (32.6%), inadequate library resources (21.3%), numerous sources (28.4%) and lack of suitable services (5.7%) in the library.

Nagaland is a hilly state located in the extreme north-eastern region of India with its capital at Kohima. The state shares common boundaries with Myanmar in the East, state of Assam in the West; Arunachal Pradesh and a part of Assam in the North with Manipur in the south. Nagaland became the 16th independent state of Indian Union only on 1st December 1963 by an amendment in the constitution of India. A portion of the present day Nagaland was a district in Assam – the Naga Hills district. Later in 1958 it was merged with Tuensang area of NEFA (North East Frontier Agency) to form the NHTA (Naga Hills Tuensang Area) which, eventually in 1963 was made into a State). The Distinctive identity of each tribe in terms of Tradition, custom, language and dresses is apparent to the visitors. About 90% of the state's population is Christian and there are good many number of churches located in all over the state. For this reason Nagaland is popularly known as the "The most Baptist state in the world”.

Morphometric analysis of the river is very important factors for the purpose of the management and conservation of soil, water, natural resources and environmental protection. Therefore present study focusing on the Kurunda river basin for the study of its drainage characteristics of soil with references to pH and EC. pH and Electrical Conductivity shows negative relation with stream frequency, relief ratio, drainage density, drainage intensity, Slope, drainage texture, ruggedness number, gradient ratio, compactness constant etc.pH increases from 1st stream order towards 5th stream order, EC dominant found in the 3rd and 5th order relatively.

The Danish Missionaries who constituted mostly Germans were sent to Tamil Country by the King of Denmark .They landed at Tranquebar (Tarangambadi) and involved in the spread of gospel of Christianity. The early Danish Protestant Christian Missionaries contribute much to the Tamil literatures and for the introduction Western Medicine and medical practices in Tamil Country. They introduced printing press in Tamil and enriched Tamilology. They did not underestimate the indigenous medical works Tamil Siddhas and Saints. They collected the native medical notes which are kept and preserved in palm leaves for a long time and sent to European Countries where they were compiled and published in books. Thus there was exchange of scientific knowledge and the missionaries served as a link between the West and East. The Missionaries at Tranquebar contacted the Missionaries of the different parts of the World and invited medicinal plants to Tranquebar where they had grown in nursery. The Danish Missionaries were employed by the British Administrators in their services and they were freely allowed to spread Christianity and share scientific knowledge and experiments to the needy native people who were suffered from chronic and epidemic diseases. The notes, letters and diaries of the Danish Missionaries at Tranquebar are filled with particulars about their acquirement of native scientific knowledge, culture of the indigenous people, financial constraints of the missionaries and the necessity of the western medical treatment. The Danish Missionaries like Ziegenbalg, Rottler, Schwartz Gruendler, and Christopher John are remembered for ever for their immense legacy in the sphere of science especially Botany.

In Assam people of various Tribes, Castes, races, communities live altogether harmoniously coping with each other in their joy and happiness. Like others, the Nepalese/Gorkha's had also advent from those days with culture, tradition, custom and had become one inseparable part of greater Assamese community. SGSY was introduced by the Central Government with co-operation of State Governments with the objective to elevate the rural poor from BPL to APL, and to generate the employment opportunities in the interior of rural areas. Self Help Groups (SHGs) are formed through a process of social mobilization, with their training and capacity building, infrastructure build up, technology, credit and marketing enabling them to take decisions on all issues concerning poverty eradication. The SGSY Scheme under the cluster approach caters most to the labourers whether the Swarozgaris belong to an SHG or is an individual. Animal Husbandry and Agriculture related occupations are dominant SGSY activities.

Philosophical systems have a concern on the doctrine of action and its after-effect. The Indian systems of philosophy always show a special interest on the concept of karma, whether they support Vedas or go beyond the authority of Vedas. All the systems of philosophy refer the concept of karma to validate their very foundation of arguments and provide a deterministic view based on moralistic or naturalistic interpretations. The unorthodox systems or the heterodox systems, namely, the Carvakas, the Jainism and the Buddhism differ in their explanation of the concept of karma. This paper examines these issues in the three heterodox systems of Indian philosophy over the concept of karma.

The issue of educational development of Scheduled caste is a major issue. The low enrolment in higher education, higher stagnation and wastage are the problems of SC higher education in India. Overall educational status of SCs is not so impressive. Post Matric Scheme as a positive discrimination policy spending large amount on educational empowerment of SC students in India. This had resulted gradual increase in the numbers of beneficiaries i.e. the students taking higher education. As well as expenditure on the scheme shows increase. There are various barriers in the implementation of the scheme. Still scheme find very useful for the students from rural backgrounds and for those who are not able to enroll and pursue the education without the scheme.
