Abstract :“Competency mapping is a process through which one assesses and determines one's strength as an individual worker and in some cases, as part of an organization”. It generally examines strength of the individual in areas like team structure, leadership and decision making. “Competency mapping is a process an individual uses to identify and describe competencies that are the most critical to success in a work situation or work role”. Organization use competency mapping to analyze the combination of strength in different workers to produce the most effective team and the highest quality work. Competency mapping can also be done for contract or freelance workers or for those seeking employment to emphasize the specific skills which would make them valuable to a potential employer. |

Abstract :India being a signatory to World Trade Organization's General Agreement on Trade-in Services, which includes wholesale and retailing services, had to open up the retail trade sector to foreign investment. There were initial reservations towards this issue arising from fear of job losses, procurement from international market, competition and loss of entrepreneurial opportunities to locals. However, the government in a series of moves opened up the retail sector slowly to Foreign Direct Investment (.FDI.). In 1997, FDI in cash and carry (wholesale) with 100% ownership was allowed under the government approval route. Subsequently It was brought under the automatic route in 2006.Then 51% investment in a single brand retail was permitted in 2006. |

Abstract :Next-generation communication evolution towards 4G promises to meet the demands for ubiquitous communication. MIMO technology has become a mandatory requirement to achieve the goals of future wireless communication. This paper describes the System design methodology for MIMO Wireless platform. Software simulations provide flexibility, but the true performance of the system can only be known by developing a hardware wireless platform and performing measurements and tests in the target environment. Hardware Implementation concept of MIMO Wireless platform based on DSP and FPGA is presented, various development tools available for system simulation and analysis is discussed. Abstract :Once inside the store, shoppers become browsers. They walk through the store looking for items on their list but also paying attention to special displays, promotions, product sampling and demonstrations. Smart phones and apps may well become popular shopping tools in the future, but for now they are only used by a tech-savvy minority. Keeping this pace in mind the researcher aimed to identify in-store decisions of shoppers in leading apparel showroom. The measuring factors used are (1) Store brand (2) Promotions & displays (3) Price (4) Information on labels (5) Flyers & Circulars (6) Convenience and merchandising. (7) Clothing Fitness. Questionnaire method was administered to conduct the study from Coimbatore city. The study reveals that in-store merchandising and convenience creates more interest to purchase among shoppers. |

Guerilla Marketing is a means to gain maximum exposure through minimal cost to the company. The term “guerilla marketing” is used to describe an unusual system of promotions on a very low budget, relying on time, energy, and the imagination instead of big marketing budgets. Up to par the term has also come to describe aggressive, unusual marketing methods generically. The paper serves to explore the uses and needs for the guerilla marketing approach and how they are superior and different from the traditional marketing tactics. Abstract :Workplace harassment affects both men and women in every walk of life, in every level of employment. This research paper documents the range of harassment behaviors men and women experience when they enter the workplace. For some men the harassment is verbal abuse and retaliation in nature and for some women the harassment includes sexual in nature and some may experience abusive workplace situations that are based on their race, class, disability, sexual orientation and language. This research paper identifies the range of workplace harassment that men and women experience and to examine the effects of their experiences in automotive industry in India. This research paper also shows the recommendations for reducing the risk of harassment and for providing employees with support and legal remedies if they are harassed. The purpose of this research is to prevent employees from losing their life and to stop the daily harm being done to employees through workplace harassment |
