The antimicrobial activity of ginseng extract was investigated in-vitro against 24 clinical isolates of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Prevotella intermedia. To our knowledge, there is a lack of researches on the evaluation of the antimicrobial effectiveness of ginseng extract on periodontopathic bacteria.
