Although many departments of dentistry have promising careers, public health dentists often find themselves at cross- roads when looking for growth opportunities after post-graduation. This suggest the need to assess the awareness among public health dentists regarding various career prospects in India and also to assess the challenges faced by them in pursuing their oppor- tunities.

Black angle (Latin: Angularis Nigra), also known as open gingival embrasures, and colloquially known as "black tri- angle", is the space or gap seen at the cervical embrasure, below the contact point of some teeth. The gingival black triangle does not only play a role in aesthetic concerns but also may cause plaque accumulation, further worsening periodontal disease, and phonetic problems.

Congenital epulis also known as Neumann’s tumor is a benign, rare congenital intraoral tumor that usually affects alveolar mucosa of neonates with a marked female predilection of 10:1 and site predilection for maxillary alveolus by 3:1. Very few cases have been reported in mandible and extremely rare < 10% cases have been reported with lesions in both the jaws simultaneously. Clinically tumor presents as a mass protruding through oral cavity of neonates with a potential to cause difficulty in feeding or respiration.

This study aimed to compare the antimicrobial efficacy of various irrigants- Punica granatum 20%, green tea extract 3%, chito- san 2% and sodium hypochlorite 3% against E. faecalis.

Recently, it has become a subject of great interest in planning surgeries.

Aesthetics is frequently a prominent concern among young patients with anterior teeth involvement, which can be a problem to the dentist. Patients usually seek dental treatment to improve their smile because of superficial stains and enamel abnormalities. Hy- poplasia, amelogenesis imperfecta, mineralized white patches, and fluorosis are all causes of these stains or abnormalities, for which enamel microabrasion is recommended.

A total of 36 individuals with cleft lip and palate (eighteen unoperated and eighteen operated) were chosen for the study. The purposive sampling approach is used for sampling. The patients were categorized into two groups, which were then subdivided into three subgroups, with six patients in each.

Humans can manage without saliva it is not life threatening but it results in variety of difficulties and miseries. In December 2019, a new SARS-CoV-2 virus emerged in Wu- han, China, which has already presented several variants. The world is experiencing a major surge with the omicron vari- ant of SARS-CoV-2. Estimates based on modeling by the Insti- tute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) suggest that by 17 January 2022 there were 125 million omicron infections per day worldwide, more than ten times the peak of the delta wave in April 2021, as the proportion of asymptomatic or mild cas- es has increased compared to previous variants of this virus.

The overdenture therapy is a conservative alternative for patients who only have a few important teeth left. Retained abutments significantly improve the denture’s overall retention and stability. In addition to these advantages, the retained teeth benefit from the intact periodontium, which gives positive reinforcement to the underlying bone. The therapy for overdentures can be done with or without attachments. Although attachments can provide adequate retention, they result in further weaking of the tooth structure due to preparation of the intra-radicular canal.

The aim of the present study was to\assess the effect of full contour zirconia and PMF on the retention of Acetal Resin Maxillary class I Kennedy classification is composed of two typical educational acrylic resin models, with residual teeth stretching from the right first premolar to the left first premolar teeth. Porcelain fused to metal and full zirconia crowns, proximal guiding planes, and buccal undercuts of 0.50 mm were placed on both first premolar teeth of each cast.
