The article is devoted to the research of the priorities of the electronic commerce market development in Ukraine in the context of integration in the world economic space. The peculiarities of the e-commerce development in the world community countries, its influence on the functional interaction between the participants of market relations are determined. It is proved that for development of this market in Ukraine is an integral part of integration into the global economic space, creates the preconditions for increasing the competitiveness of the country on the world market. The reasons that hinder the development of e-commerce are determined, and the prospects of further expansion of the e-commerce market in Ukraine in the conditions of globalization are substantiated.

The rapid pace of technological progress during the last years has influenced the construction industry greatly. Due to the increasing electronic integration of the construction processes, the participants have no choice but to embrace all the latest electronic technologies. The E-tendering system was introduced with the aim to provide higher transparency in each stage and transaction of a procurement process, as well as to reduce paperwork. However, the successful implementation of the information and communication technologies, such as E-tendering, requires the particular attention and great effort from the companies. This article identifies the main trends in construction industry regarding electronic technologies and potential benefits that participants can gain from implementing E-tendering system.

This paper emphasizes that under conditions of knowledge economy formation the international scientific and technological cooperation will be developed in priority. It seems to be an objective necessity and is institutionally supported at the global level. Analysis of statistical data confirmed the allegation in respect of activation of the international scientific and technological cooperation and distinguished a number of its development trends, encompassing the following ones: international scientific publications and citation, distribution of intellectual property, international patenting, internationalization of R&D and university activities. Application of information and communication technologies as well as international programs, supporting joint researches, becomes of major importance.

This paper aims to develop a conceptual overview of key competencies framework needed by managers for achieving the sustainability and overall success in the hospitality business narrative. This overview provides a summary of the key sources and interpretation of the key concepts, granting hospitality educators and managers useful insights of competencies and skills required of future leaders and possibilities of exiting curriculum enhancement. The ever increasing and expanding needs of the hospitality industry are greatly reflected in expectancy of certain skills and competencies of managerial level employees. Industry professionals and educators should continuously cooperate to track and investigate emerging trends and competencies expected from the hospitality management graduates to possess in order to include them in the curriculum. The framework is developed from a review of literature that is focused largely on competencies of managerial level employees and national standards that are needed to develop a sustainable hospitality business. Authors contribute by collecting different concepts for further developing of theoretical framework for academic and practical application. The paper provides a conceptual overview for educators wishing to conduct more detailed empirical research on the subject. The review is valuable to industry professionals and stakeholders for analysis of the required competencies list and to implementing appropriate continuous improvements in cooperation with educators. The author has defined the conceptual foundations, principles, and the substantial structure of the metaphor of sight in the intellectual dimension of philosophical concepts, where the problem of visualization in scientific cognition, thinking and learning is highlighted. We have described the main directions of the analysis of metaphorization in historical and philosophical development considering the essence of visual experience, appealing to visual perception through the prism of visual metaphors. We have also found and systematically grounded a number of important philosophical metaphors, which have a visual nature such as metaphor of sight, metaphor of light, and metaphor of a mirror applying the logical-discursive approach. Their functions that complement the process of philosophical cognition in the transcendent and transcendental aspects are outlined to be as follows: idiomatic, stylistic, and heuristic. Furthermore, we have considered Plato’s allegory of the cave in the context of development of the cognitive ability of contemplation, which plays an important role in the process of comprehending the real world by the mental vision. The authors have paid special attention to the concept of theory, which meant the kind of philosopher’s activity in antiquity - to watch, that is, to theorize, and, accordingly, to study. Therefore, the authors have proved that visuality having its roots in philosophy and describing philosophical activity is a method of philosophical research and, consequently, is associated with philosophical thinking, the basis of the creative educational process.
