Özet Bu makale, psikanalizin dogusunu açiklamak üzere cinsellik ile öznellik arasindaki baglantinin nasil kurulduguna odaklaniyor. Psikanalizin esasen bir cinsellik kurami degil, cinsellik üzerinden gelistirilen bir öznellik kurami oldugu saptamasindan hareket eden makale, bu baglantiyi mümkün kilan tarihsel ve toplumsal baglami ortaya koymayi hedefliyor. Makale, söz konusu baglami öncelikle psikanalizin kurucusu Freud’un yasam öyküsü merkezinde inceliyor. Daha sonra ise Foucault’un Cinselligin Tarihi eserinde sundugu “psikanalizin arkeolojisini” temel alarak iki farkli eksene odaklaniyor. Bunlardan ilki cinselligin aileye baglanmasini ve ailenin erotiklestirilmesini konu aliyor. Ikincisi ise psikanalizin burjuvazinin sinif bedeninin olumlandigi ve aile dramlarinin öne çikarildigi bir benlik teknolojisi olarak ortaya çikisina bakiyor. Makale, bu iki ekseni daha somutlastirmak ve psikanalizin dogusunu somut insanlar ve olaylar üzerinden anlatmak üzere E. Roudinesco’nun Freud biyografisinden yararlaniyor. Ilk eksende öznellik meselesinin nasil öne çiktigini vurgulamak üzere, histerinin tedavisinde dikkatin nasil bedenden söze, ruhsalliga ve öznellige kaydigina isik tutuyor ve psikanalizin kurucu vakasi olan Anna O vakasinda bu dinamigin nasil isledigini gösteriyor. Ikinci eksende, Freud’un çevresinde toplanan ve psikanalizi kuran küçük çevrenin olusturdugu “genis aile”nin iliskilerine odaklanarak psikanalizin “benlik teknolojisi” olarak belirmesini ele aliyor. Abstract This article aims to clarify the ways sexuality and subjectivity have been implicated in each other in the emergence of psychoanalysis. It departs from the major argument that psychoanalysis is not a theory of sexuality but a theory of subjectivity in connection with sexuality. Thus, the aim of the article is to draw attention to the social and historical context in which psychoanalysis has been founded by Freud. With this aim, it firstly focuses on some biographical aspects of Freud’ life. Later, it draws on the argument suggested by Foucault in his The History of Sexuality about the “archaeology of psychoanalysis”. There are two different axes of historical explanation which the article takes from Foucault and proceed: the first relates to the ways sexuality has been connected to the family so as to result in the sexualisation of family relations. The second is about the emergence of psychoanalysis as a “technology of the self” employed by bourgeois class by means of caring the sexual and familial relations. The article mostly benefits from E. Roudinesco’s impressive biographical work on Freud to understand the birth of psychoanalysis in more concrete and particular ways, covering aspects of Freud life and the small circle around him. On the first historical axis, it deals with the role of hysteria, focusing on the case of Anna O. Here the critical moment is the slide towards inner forces and intimacy instead of the body in the treatment of hysteria. On the second historical axis, the paper draws attention to the inter- familial relations and the familial dramas of the closed circle around Freud to understand the birth of psychoanalysis as a technology of the self.

Özet Elestirel Kuramin politik felsefeye alternatif olarak öne sürdügü sosyal felsefe anlayisi, ortaya çiktigi tarihsel-toplumsal dönemin izlerini tasir. Siyasi kurumlarin irrasyonellesmesi, demokratik isleyisin patolojik bir vaziyet kazanmasi, savaslarin ortaya çikmasi, fasizmin hüküm sürmesi, bireyin özerkliginin yok edilmesi, tekelci devlet kapitalizmi gibi gerçeklikler Elestirel Kuramin sosyal felsefe anlayisinin olusturulmasinda etkili olmustur. Bu çalismada, ortaya çiktigi tarihsel- toplumsal baglam dolayisiyla Elestirel Kuramin sosyal felsefe anlayisinin günümüz tarihsel- toplumsal gerçekligini açiklamada elverisli oldugunu ileri sürüyorum. Günümüzde negatif kosullar agirlasmakta, savaslar hâlâ devam etmekte, fasizm genis çapta hüküm sürmekte, yoksullar ile zenginler arasinda uçurum açilmakta, gözetim ve denetim yoluyla tekilin özerkligi hücrelerine kadar kapsanmakta, elestiri susturulmaya çalisilmaktadir. Böyle bir ortamda sosyal felsefenin görevlerini yeniden ele almak, iki farkli dönem arasindaki tarihsel-toplumsal ortak noktalar nedeniyle gereklidir. Bununla birlikte, Elestirel Kurami bütünlüklü olarak yeniden tesis etme girisimi, teorik oldugu kadar pratigi de hedefleyen bir girisimdir. “Baska olan”i hedefleyen sosyal felsefe, dünyayi degistirme çabalarinin yenik düstügü bir ortamda degisim meselesine yeniden isik tutabilecek bir yaklasima sahiptir. Tüm bu nedenlerle, sosyal felsefenin görevlerinin günümüzde hâlâ geçerli oldugu ve Kuramin içinde bulundugumuz tarihsel-toplumsal gerçekligi kavramada elverisli oldugu, bu çalismanin temel iddiasini olusturmaktadir. Abstract The understanding of social philosophy mooted by Critical Theory as an alternative to political philosophy, carries the traces of the historical-social period in which it emerged. Realities such as the irrationalization of political institutions, the pathological state of the democratic functioning, the emergence of wars, the prevalence of fascism, the totalization of individual autonomy, and monopoly state capitalism have been effective in the formation of the social philosophy of Critical Theory. In this study, I argue that the social philosophy understanding of Critical Theory is convenient for explaining the present-day historical-social reality due to the historical-social context in which it emerged. Today, wars still continue, fascism prevails on a wide scale, the rift between the poor and the rich is widened, the autonomy of individuals is totalized till their cells by surveillance and control, and criticism is tried to be silenced. In such an atmosphere, it is necessary to reconsider the tasks of Critical Theory and social philosophy because of the historical-social similarities between the two different periods. However, the attempt to reappraisal Theory and therefore philosophy is an attempt aimed at practice as well as theoretical. Social philosophy aiming at "the difference one" has an approach that can shed light on the issue of change in an atmosphere where efforts to change the world have been defeated. For all these reasons, the main claim of this study is that the tasks of social philosophy are still valid today and that it has an important place in grasping the historical-social reality we are in.

Bu yazida, Hegel’in devlet teorisinin çagdas zaman problemleri olan etik ve materyal yozlasmaya yanit verip veremedigi incelenmistir. Bir devletteki etik ve materyal yozlasmanin giderilmesi için memurluklardaki is birliklerinin iletisimsel pratikler içermesi gerektigini ortaya koymak, yazinin temel amacidir. Yazinin ilk bölümünde, Hegel’in devlet teorisini etkilemis olabilecek filozoflarin düsünceleri tarihsel bir perspektiften anlatilmaya çalisilmistir. Akabinde ise, bulundugu zamanin kosullari göz önüne alinarak, Hegel’in devlet teorisinin ve metaforik olarak onun devletini tasiyan vagondaki çarklarin neler oldugu sorgulanmistir. Yazinin üçüncü bölümünde, Hegel’in baskin çarki olan anayasasinin, bugünün kosullarina cevap veremedigi kesfedilmis ve bu baglamda diger çarki olan pratiksel anayasaya geçilerek, klasik politik ekonomi ögretileri ile Hegel’in is birlikleri arasindaki iliskinin ne olabilecegi ortaya konmaya çalisilmistir. Sonuç bölümünden önceki son bölümde ise, Hegel’in devlet teorisindeki ideal olan Sittlichkeit’a yakinlasmak amaciyla, Habermasian iletisimsel pratikler kullanilarak, memurluklardaki is birliklerinin günümüzün bahsedilen problemlerine cevap vermek anlaminda nasil verimli bir kaynak olabilecegi açiklanmaya çalisilmistir.

20. yüzyilin en önemli Katolik filozofu ve tanribilimcisi olarak kabul edilen Jacques Maritain (1882-1973), ayni zamanda Roma Katolik Kilise tarafindan 19. yüzyilin son çeyreginde baslatilan ve Yeni-Thomasçilik olarak adlandirilan felsefi ve teolojik akimin önde gelen temsilcisidir. Thomas Aquinas’in düsüncelerini dayanak alarak Katolisizmin felsefi, siyasal ve sosyal alanda yüzlerce yila yayilan gerileyisine son vermeyi amaçlayan Yeni-Thomasçilik, 20. yüzyilin ortalarindan itibaren Katolik ögretisinin toplum ve siyaset anlayisinda dikkat çeken bir dönüsüme yol açar. Bu dönüsüme en fazla katki saglayan, dahasi onun istikametini ve içerigini önemli oranda belirleyen Katolik layman Maritain’dir. Maritain’in söz konusu dönüsüme yaptigi baslica katkilardan biri Katolisizm ile çagdas insan haklari fikri arasinda kurdugu ilgidir. Maritain’in insan haklari kurami ilkin Yeni-Thomasçilikla Katolik Kilisesi’nin bir anlamda resmi filozofu haline gelen Aquinas’in dogal hukuk ögretisini temel alir ve onu Thomas’ta olmayan dogal haklar ögretisiyle bulusturur. Maritain’in insan haklari kuraminin bir diger dayanagi ise, köklerini gene büyük oranda Thomas’ta bulan Hiristiyan personalizmidir. Maritain, liberalizmin ben-merkezli birey anlayisi ile toplumu ya da devleti önceleyen kolektivist ideolojilerin asiriliklarindan kisi olarak insani ve onun degerini temel alarak kaçinmaya çalisir. Özet Bu çalismada, Pierre Bourdieu’nün sosyoloji güzergâhinda ele aldigi kavramlar ve sosyolojiye atfettigi elestirel rol, politik direnis fikriyle düsünülmeye çalisilacaktir. Toplumsal dünyada esitsizligin kökenlerini nesnelcilik ile öznelcilik seklindeki geleneksel ikilikten koparak iliskisel bir kavrayisla çözümlemeye çabalayan Bourdieu, tahakkümün gizli mekanizmalarini inceler. Ona göre, toplumsal dünyayi anlamak bu dünyada yer alan tahakküm biçimlerini ortaya çikarmakla ilgilidir. Toplumsal düzenin titizlikle yapilmis karmasik bir analizi tahakküm biçimlerinin hangi yollarla gerçeklestigini açiga çikarir. Bourdieu, bu tarz bir analize giriserek tahakküm altindakilerin bu baskiyi nasil içsellestirdiklerini ortaya koyar. Abstract In this study, the concepts of Pierre Bourdieu on the route of sociology and the critical role he attributed to sociology will be tried to be considered with the idea of political resistance. Striving to analyze the origins of inequality in the social world with a relational understanding by breaking away from the traditional dichotomy of objectivism and subjectivism, Bourdieu examines the hidden mechanisms of domination. According to him, understanding the social world is about revealing the forms of domination in this world. A studiously complex analysis of the social order reveals the ways in which forms of domination take place. By undertaking this kind of analysis, Bourdieu reveals how the dominated persons internalize domination. From his point of view, those who are dominated generally obey the founding rules and regularities that engender the social world, with desire to achieve the gains that are the object of struggle, accept the intolerable conditions of oppression and exploitation; but they can also disrupt the functioning of this world. Regardless of the social space, the dominated persons have the means to use a certain power against those in the dominant position. There are always possibilities for them to rebel and apply the forms of political resistance. This study questions to what extent these possibilities, Bourdieu envisioned for resistance and changing in his conceptual framework, can be realized, and whether they can constitute the social foundations of a radical change by creating a disruption in the functioning of the social order. Bourdieu always includes the possibility of political resistance in his sociology, despite all the references he makes to the continuous reporduction of patterns of inequality in the social world. The goal of his sociological analysis has a political meaning in that it provides tools to fight against the forms of domination by analyzing them. Here, this study aims to discuss the possibilities of political freedom in Bourdieu by thinking of him with the idea of political resistance. It tries to show how his socological approach is particularly related to an emancipatory politics and advocacy of a transnational state. Thus, it aims to reveal in detail the position of political resistance in Bourdieu’s sociology by identifying possible sources of resistance.
