Co relations between cognitive beliefs and dominance in brain hemisphericity of first year engineering students. |
Author : Hema Peese,M. N. Nyayate,Anushree S Tambe,J. K. Pendharkar |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :In the past quarter of a century considerable attention has been given to what is called as brain hemisphericity. These early brain researchers found that the two halves of brain i.e. right and left hemisphere process information differently but there can be exchange of information. Both the hemispheres are equally important, but most of the time it was found that the one of the hemisphere is dominated over the other. These neurosurgeons findings had direct implications in teaching and learning process. |

Measurement of velocity of Ultrasonic sound in alkali halide solutions with different Normality |
Author : J. K. Pendharkar,Yogesh Ghalsasi,Atul Jadhav,S. K. Saxena,M. N. Nyayate |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Velocity of sound in solutions is very large as compared to that in air, and this velocity is density dependent. In this experiment the alkali halide solutions of different normality was prepared and the velocity of sound was observed using Ultrasonic Interferometer at 2 M Hz of frequency. The velocity of sound was observed to be increasing with increasing Normality of solutions except for the potassium iodide solution, where this change is marginal. As an extension to this experiment sodium halide solutions were tested, and again the change in Sodium iodide was observed to be much less. This showed that the velocity of sound in alkali halide solutions was observed to be frequency dependent also that is at certain frequency for a solution velocity remains almost constant with change in normality. |

Art and Architecture under Rashtrakutas of Malkhed |
Author : N. T. Gangamma |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The Rashtrakutas were a royal dynasty ruling large parts of the Indian Subcontinent between the sixth and the 10th centuries. The earliest known Rashtrakuta inscription is a 7th century copper plate grant that mentions their rule from Manpur in the Malwa region of modern Madhya Pradesh. Other ruling Rashtrakuta clans from the same period mentioned in inscriptions were the kings of Achalapur which is modern Elichpur in Maharashtra and the rulers of Kannauj. Several controversies exist regarding the origin of these early Rashtrakutas, their native home and their language. |

Abstract :A right is a freedom of some kind. It is something to which you are entitled by virtue of being human.Human rights are based on the principle of respect for the individual. Their fundamental assumption is that each person is a moral and rational being who deserves to be treated with dignity. They are called human rights because they are universal. Whereas nations or specialized groups enjoy specific rights that apply only to them, human rights are the rights to which everyone is entitled—no matter who they are or where they live—simply because they are alive. |

RIGHT TO EDUCATION ACT 2009 REASONING SUICIDE PREVENTION FOR STUDENTS |
Author : NEELKANTH BANKAR |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Availability of structure is a boon for targeting segments of population for their welfare. Educational system is one such available structure. Many times this structure is used for dealing with health issues like malnutrition, immunisation and census drives. Similarly, suicide prevention praxis can also be modulated through this existing network. Magnitude of suicide among students is increasing and is a matter of urgent concern. Hence, the purpose of the present paper is to appeal for appending focused suicide prevention initiatives along with educational policies like Right to Education Act, 2009 for student population. |
