The paper analyzes the development of critical theory in relation to human interests in Jürgen Habermas’ “Knowledge and human interests”. The key issue is interaction between the different types of cognitive activity, the ratio of the natural sciences and social sciences. Purpose of the article is to examine the critical theory as an essential element of the social sciences, to demonstrate a link between theory and critical communicative and emancipative interests; to trace the origin of Jurgen Habermas’ discourse ethics through critical reception of the works of Karl Marx and Wilhelm Dilthey.

The investigation of modern administrative costs management practices is conducted by the example of banks of Ukraine, Spain and North America. Modern methods of administrative costs management by the example of the banks of Ukraine (by questionnaire) and Spain are analyzed. Comparison of administrative costs optimization methods used by banks in Ukraine and other countries is performed. The consistent pattern of administrative costs allocation methods depending upon the bank's assets is identified. Points of proactive banks' administrative expenses optimization are defined, the ways of improving costs management efficiency of banks are offered. As the result of this paper the technique of adminisnrative costs allocation could be reviewed both by foreign and domestic banks, as well as proactive costs optimization methods practically applied.

The article presents analysis of main factors that maximize value of retail enterprise. Based on the study of features and modern trends in the development of Ukrainian retail sector key value drivers of retailers in terms of 4 components (financial, customer, partner and human capital) were identified. The system of indicators to quantify the value of retailers in terms of owners, customers, partners and employee was proposed. The interrelation and mutual influence of retail enterprise’s value drivers was explored.

In article the priority role of locomotive economy in achievement of high rates of efficiency of railway branch in general is defined. Need of improvement of motivation system of locomotive economy employees labor behavior is proved. Introduction of new cascade system of awarding on the basis of the developed key indicators of an assessment of productivity and efficiency of activity which is connected with strategic objectives and tasks of structural divisions of locomotive economy - locomotive depots is offered, that includes an assessment of the enterprise in general, an assessment of its structural departments, and, considering importance of a human factor for achievement of specific strategic objectives, each certain employee.

The article deals about of our investigations of effect of fertilizers application studying on productivity formation of sunflowers hybrids in conditions of Chernigiv region. In the end of researches we got next results. The seed yield was got 3.05 t per ha for the variant with fertilizers rate N60Р60К90 for Yason hybrid. The foliar application by complex fertilizers “Rostok oils” on background of mineral fertilizers increased seed yield to 5.7-9.5 % in comparative to background variants of fertilization.

The results of study of influence of mineral fertilizers application on quality of grain of aestivum spring wheat under conditions of north-west Forest-Steppe of Ukraine are shown in the article. It was established that to obtain quality grain of Коллективная 3 variety we should apply mineral fertilizers at rate N90P90K90 after all predecessors and for Ранняя 93 variety N60P60K60 after sugar beet and potato.

Particularities of main approaches to Welfare State Reforms, which were introduced as answers to the Welfare State Crisis during 1970s and 1990s are observed. Also it is questioned whether these approaches could be applied to the actual Welfare State Crisis. First, the problem area of these approached is reviewed: which problems do they solve, and what problems they could not explain. As a result, it is stressed, that previously developed approaches do not cover all empirical cases. Thus, it is argued, that new approach – combination of prospect theory with blame avoidance strategies – should be used as methodological tool to explain previous Welfare State Reforms as well as future ones. The results could be used by governmental political parties as roadmap for Welfare State Model’s Reform development to minimize electoral risks.

The history of the origin and development of women's education and teaching movement in the Russian Empire in the late 19th – early 20th century has been reviewed; it was found that the issue of equality, granting women the right to be members of the public and social life, receiving education etc. have been discussed at various conferences and congresses; it was grounded the creation and activities of women's public organizations such as “Russian Women One-Charity Fellowship” (1895), “Union of Equal Rights For Women” (1895), “Russian League of women equality” (1907) and others; regulatory framework of educational women's associations has been characterized; women's editions “Women's Bulletin” (1904−1917) and “Union of Women” (1907−1909) have been analysed.

In the article systematically information on dance couples choreography for leading ballroom dance competition of our time, a detailed analysis of the results of the representatives of Ukraine at the German Open Championship of ballroom dancing in 1998 - 2014 . Concluded that a greater degree of integration of domestic artists ballroom dance festivals in the world system and ballroom dance competitions at present, outlining promising directions of further research on the topic.
