An independent panel chooses the books, which are in any genre, modern or classic. Authors waive their royalties, and publishers agree to pay the cost of producing the special editions for World Book Night. Los Alamos volunteer Inez Ross distributed books along Central Avenue. Because Los Alamos currently has no bookstore, WBN had not sent Ross the box of booksfor her to distribute.
