GORHAM 鈥?Clayton Avon Bearce, 86, born in Lincoln, ME, on March 5, 1928, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on December 10, 2014. The son of Stephen and Viva Bearce, Clayton graduated from Mattanawcook Academy High School in Lincoln, ME in 1947. He worked in the Lincoln and Millinocket paper mills as a millwright until he retired in 1988.He was a 60 year member of the Horab Masonic Lodge and a member of the Anna Shrine. Fishing, hunting, boating, and all outdoor activities were his passion.
