Subject : Upload error – Access denied saving JournalCover file (SuggestJournal.aspx)
Message : Dear Index DRJI Support Team, I am registering the journal Medical Times in the Journal Master List. When I upload the journal cover and submit the form, the system returns an ASP.NET error: “System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ‘…\wwwroot\JournalCover\16529.jpg’ is denied.” The error occurs at SuggestJournal.aspx.cs, line 373: fuJournalCover.SaveAs(Server.MapPath("~/JournalCover/" + sid + exten)); It appears the IIS application identity does not have Write/Modify permissions to the /JournalCover/ directory. Could you please advise whether the cover upload is required, and if so, kindly resolve the server permissions issue or provide an alternative method to submit the cover?
