| Journal Description : | Geriatrics, Gerontology and Aging (GGA) is the official journal of the Brazilian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology. Originally published in print (ISSN 2447-2115), since 2017 GGA has been available exclusively online (ISSN 2447-2123).
GGA is an open access journal of international circulation that aims to publish peer-reviewed original research, including editorials, original articles, review articles, case reports, brief communications, and letters to the editor, among other manuscripts addressing issues and studies of technical interest in the fields of human aging, geriatrics, and gerontology. In addition to research involving human subjects, GGA also considers for publication translational research and experimental studies focusing on cellular and molecular aging processes, studies in animal models, genetic analyses, as well as economic and public policy assessments.
GGA’s mission is to publish research conforming to international standards that contributes, directly or indirectly, to the promotion of knowledge in the field of human aging and to improvements in the practice of geriatrics and gerontology.
