| Journal Description : | The Journal of Sustainable Development Law and Policy is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal published by the Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development, Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria. It is published in June (Spring) and October (Fall) by the Afe Babalola University Press, Nigeria.
Condensing essential information into just two issues a year, the Journal of Sustainable Development Law and Policy has become an authoritative source of informed analysis for all those interested in the study, clarification and practice of sustainable development. The Journal exists primarily for academics and legal practitioners, but should also prove accessible for all other groups concerned with sustainable development, from scientists to engineers and planners. As such papers that explore broad themes of sustainable development such as infrastructure, green technology, extractive resource governance, sustainable taxation, banking, environment, natural resources, public private partnerships, alternative dispute resolution, peace, and conflict studies are normally given top consideration.
The journal offers major articles on a wide variety of topics, refereed and written to the highest standards, providing innovative and authoritative appraisals of current and emerging concepts, policies, and practice. It includes:
- A legal article section, providing detailed analysis of current case law and legislative and policy developments
- An annual review of significant African, European and international law cases
