Miqot is accredited as an academic journal by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia (SK Dirjen Dikti No. 040/P/2014) valid through February 2019. Miqot welcomes contributions of articles in such fields as Quranic Studies, Prophetic Traditions, Theology , Philosophy, Law and Econnmics, History, Educatian, Communication, Literature, Anthropology Sociology and Psychology.
