| Journal Description : | The Journal Advances in Building Education (ABE – Innovación Educativa en la Edificación) is promoted by the Department of Building Technology in the School of Building at the Politechnical University of Madrid. The main objective of the Journal is to share the knowledge of new initiatives and to encourage the exchange of experiences and ideas on educational innovation in the scope of Building, Architecture, Engineering and Construction. This is aimed at discussing the role of education in the professional development of the future experts that will take place in the building process of our cities.

ABE (Advances in Building Education / Innovación Educativa en la Edificación) es una publicación periódica de carácter cuatrimestral, perteneciente al ámbito de la educación universitaria en Edificación, Arquitectura, Ingeniería y Construcción. ABE es una revista "open access" que no aplica cargo alguno a los autores por procesar o publicar un artículo
El objetivo fundamental es fomentar la información sobre nuevas iniciativas y el intercambio de nuevas ideas en materia de innovación educativa. Con ello, se pretende poder debatir sobre el papel que desempeña la educación universitaria en el desarrollo profesional.
Esta publicación está enfocada a un público internacional y, en especial, a docentes, investigadores, estudiantes y todo aquel que esté interesado en cuestiones de carácter pedagógico.
Los temas que incluye esta la revista, sin ser limitativos, son los relacionados con la innovación educativa en especial referentes a materias como:
Arquitectura e Ingeniería
Urbanismo, Ordenación del territorio y Movilidad
Edificación
Construcción
Desarrollo humano (Psicología del aprendizaje, Neuroaprendizaje, …)
