| Journal Description : | Novi Ekonomist is an academic journal which aims to foster the development of economic theory and practice. Such task is particularly prominent in terms of implementing the process of domestic economy transition to the market criteria of business, when it is necessary to acquire certain range of critical knowledge and skills in running the enterprises as the main factors of the market economy.
The journal’s role comes to the fore concerning the possibility of periodical monitoring of changes in economics and management as well as in the modern business enterprise and other spheres of social life. This is especially related to the exchange of different experience and transfer of knowledge between scientific and educational institutions and business systems. The vocational orientations of the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina and the University of East Sarajevo have the firm base for the development and application of knowledge from a wide range of scientific and educational disciplines.
Novi Ekonomist has already assumed its full shape of the publication of importance to the written word in the field of business economics, marketing, management and organization.
Novi Ekonomist includes relevant articles by authors who have practical knowledge in business organizations and social institutions and those who are competent in theoretical approaches to public and corporate finance, accounting and auditing, information technology, insurance, marketing, management, organization, foreign and domestic trade, the Customs Service, shipping and public administration, and other activities complementary to the economic profession.
The journal is accessible to a great number of authors and readership eager to improve their knowledge, exchange experience and get informed about relevant topics that are regularly published.
The Editorial Board is open to cooperation with the publishers of related publications from Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as from other countries. The copies of the journal are regularly delivered to a great number of Faculties of Economics and other higher education institutions that foster related scientific and educational disciplines.
