| Journal Description : | The publication is a production of the FAPESP Thematic Project 2015/03804-9 "Environmental Governance of the Macrometropole Paulista in the face of Climate Variability", part of the FAPESP Global Climate Change Program, coordinated by Professor Pedro Roberto Jacobi (IEA/IEE/USP), based at the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE), and brings together faculty from various units of the University of São Paulo (IEE, IO, FSP, FEA, IAG, EACH, ECA, IEA), the Aeronautical Institute of Technology (ITA), the University Center of United Metropolitan Colleges (FMU) and the Graduate Programs in Planning and Land Management (PGT) and Public Policy (PGPP) at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC).
The goal is to be a quarterly journal of interdisciplinary scientific dissemination, with themes of interest to the thematic project, bringing together texts by project researchers and guests, according to the theme chosen in each issue. The articles are short, about three pages long, preferably illustrated and in language accessible to a more general audience. The thematic choice is suggested by the project's coordination, formed by professors from USP and UFABC, and deliberated by the Editorial Board. From there, one of the project's professors is invited to participate as special editor of the issue and, together with the editors, defines themes and invitations. Also together with the editors, he analyzes the material received and suggests changes and adjustments to the participating authors.
