Although the Journal carries the regional name ‘Borneo’ it publishes papers from any part of the world, true to its international character.

Interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary papers that generate innovative and problem-solving information in sustainable management of natural populations, restoration of marine critical habitats and development of blue economy for seafood security and socio-economic welfare will receive priority.
