International Journal of Turkish World Studies (TUDAD) are included studies that center the Turkish World in all branches of social sciences and comprise all social science issues, prepared in accordance with scientific ethics and spelling rules and in all dialects of the Turkish language.
The journal is published four times a year, in January, April, July and October.
Each issue contains at least five articles.
The first issue was published in July 2018.
Articles submitted to the journal are rejected if they do not comply with the journal's conditions.
The appropriate articles are sent to two referees by blind review method.
Articles that are positively evaluated by referee are published in the journal.
Manuscripts that disappropriate are rejected.
International Journal of Turkish World Studies is the publication of Nigde Ömer Halisdemir University, Turkish World Studies Application and Research Center.
The responsible lecturers of Nigde Ömer Halisdemir University take care of the publication process of the journal.
TUDAD is an electronic journal. E-ISSN 2651-5180.
Manuscripts sent to TUDAD should not have been previously published or accepted for publication.
Unpublished communiqué, which have been presented at any scientific meeting before, are accepted on the condition that they are clearly stated in the article.
The publication language of TUDAD is Turkish.
In this context, articles written in any of the Turkish written languages are published in Turkish written language with Turkish and English abstracts attached.
The author (s) shall not be paid royalties for the manuscripts included in TUDAD.
The articles sent to TUDAD are first sent to the Editorial Board for compliance with the journal publication rules and to the language editors for the control of the abstracts.
Then, it is sent to two referees who have studies in related fields and are recognized in their fields for the evaluation of scientific competencies.
The referees may request corrections from the author(s) at the points they deem necessary.
Corrections made by the author(s) are sent back to the referee.
If one of the referee reports is positive and the other is negative, the articles are sent to a third referee.
At the end of the referee processes, at least two referees must give a positive decision in order for the manuscript to be published.
