| Journal Description : | The decision on periodical publishing of Turkology journal was issued at the First International Turkology Congress held between 9-12, October 2002, at Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. The journal has been continuously published once a couple of months (6 times a year). Turkology journal has been registered in the periodical press ISSN (ISSN 1727-060X) in Paris since May 2003, and in information agency of the Committee for Communication, Informatization and Information of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Certificate No. 55-97-F 18.200.2005).
In the era of globalization, when the Turkic world are in need of a deeper understanding, the knowledge of the history, cultural and spiritual value of Turkic people has a scientific and informative meaning. Therefore, the articles adopted in the Journal of Turkology are mainly based on the modern requirements of the language and literature, folklore, history, culture and religion, civilization, ethnography of Turkic peoples, the history of modern Turkic peoples, the formation and development of ancient Turkic language, ancient Turkic ethnogenesis is directed to study the Turkic people in general.
The main thematic direction of Turkology journal is the history and structure of the social sciences, literary studies and folklore, history and ethnography, ethnocultural and national cognition, philosophy and religion, art, culture, archeology, art, music. publishing scientific discoveries in the humanitarian field, expanding the scope of articles, strengthening the scientific contacts with turkologists and foreign scientists. The journal accepts articles from domestic scientists and scientists from USA, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and others. articles of Turkic scientists from different countries. Turkology journal supports the cooperation of domestic and foreign scientists with each other. They are encouraged to share their knowledge and experience.
The journal publishes articles in Kazakh, Turkish, Russian and English. Abstracts are given in Kazakh, Turkish, Russian and English languages for the purpose of free interpretation and exchange of experience. The journal chief editor, editorial board and referees are appointed among professional scientists. They work in the prestigious educational institutions of Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey.
Turkology journal readers are PhD students, candidates of science in the field of humanities, professors, academics, scientists, etc.
The editorial board maintains the journal on the basis of requirements for scientific publications and adds to the list of recommended publications for publication of scientific results, entry into the Scopus and Elsevier bases as its most important and special direction. The electronic version of the journal is included in electronic library of Kazakhstan since 2016.
The submitted articles should deal with any subject matter matter ranging from field studying materials on Turkology. The topic of article should be based on the present-day requirements of the major research in Turkology. It is important to pay attention to the novelty of the research. The article will be of great interest to researchers, professionals, and readers only when the results of scientific studies have been summarized at the highest level. Editors should act in a fair and balanced way when carrying out their duties, without discrimination on grounds of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious or political beliefs. Authors should declare that all work in their submitted piece is original, and cite content from other sources appropriately to avoid plagiarism.
Authors must ensure their contribution does not contain any libelous matter or infringe any copyright or other intellectual property rights or any other rights of any third party All articles are reviewed. Reviewing will make the articles valuable and meaningful. By submitting a reviewer’s article, the article may be returned to the author for further additions and modifications. And the works recognized as worthy of the reviewer are sent to the publishing house. All articles reviewed by reviewers will undergo plagiarism. If there is any conflict, the article will not be published. Once the article is published, it is registered for publication on internet and published in the scientific electronic library. |
