| Journal Description : | Contribuciones Científicas Preuniversitarias y Universitarios was born with a common objective: to be able to make visible what those of us who do the University do every day; that is to say, to inform the activity and work of teachers, researchers and creators of the National University of San Juan.
This magazine tries to break with some undemocratic practices, which are unconscious and are instituted at the University. Practices that, on the one hand, contribute to homogenize us and deny diversity, both in teaching practice and in research. And on the other hand, it helps to foster niches and watertight compartments in research, thus imposing hegemonic patterns that only favor certain groups that, over time and depending on having greater possibilities and the different resources of the University, try to tell us what is scientific and what is not.
It is from this place that this popular science magazine advocates for a space that is essentially democratic and where different studies and opinions can be published. Contribuciones Científicas also seeks to function as a necessary link to bring the university a little closer, and those of us who make up the university, to all of society as a whole. |
