Journal Description : | The Journal of English Education Program (JEEP), published by the English Education Department of Universitas Tanjungpura, is a biannual and peer-reviewed electronic journal dedicated to enhancing and disseminating scholarly work on the current theory and research in the field of English education, particularly in foreign language contexts. It publishes both conceptual and research-based articles within the fields of teaching English as a foreign language, students' English language learning variables, and English language teachers' training and education. It also includes studies on the applications of educational technology and applied linguistics to problems of foreign language teaching and learning.
The journal aims to provide a medium for English language educators at any level to get involved. In other words, the journal serves as a vehicle of expression for colleagues, facilitating the exchange of information and ideas among professional teachers worldwide about research- and theory-based practices, as well as practice-oriented theorizing and research. Additionally, the Journal of English Education Program seeks to promote and advance the field of English education by publishing high-quality research and scholarship from a wide range of perspectives and approaches. The journal welcomes submissions from researchers, scholars, and practitioners in the field of English education from around the world. It is committed to publishing articles that contribute to the understanding and improvement of English language teaching and learning, and to providing a forum for the discussion of current issues and trends in the field. The journal is open to a variety of research methodologies and approaches, and encourages submissions that explore innovative and cutting-edge ideas and practices in English education. |
