| Journal Description : | The Journal of Medicine, Law & Public Health (Print ISSN: 2788-9815, Online ISSN: 2788-791X) is an international open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed, not-for-profit-journal indexed in International Scientific Indexing (ISI). The journal published its first issue in Kuwait back in January 2021. At the beginning of 2022, the journal and its publishing team relocated to Ontario, Canada.
We are committed to playing a role in influencing the current understanding of diseases and therapy, from both a medical and a public health perspective, and are proud to publish research in all areas of medicine, medical law and public health. We encourage articles that discuss policies advocating best practice approaches, including policy initiatives, reform or critics. Issues around medical ethics are also welcomed.
Aim and scope: The journal aims to foster the advance of medical and public health practice with the goal of understanding and improving all aspects of medicine, health law and public health. It focuses on practice-changing information, the development of health law, and the impact of health policies on public health.
Due to the potential impact of research on public well-being, we are committed to a fast but rigorous peer-review process. Researchers should expect a decision within fewer than four weeks from submission, and articles will be available online within two to three days after being accepted. This is an open-access journal; articles will be freely available to readers at no cost. There is no article processing charge (APC), as described in the Author Guidelines. |
