| Journal Description : | The journal Salud, Ciencia y Tecnología is a peer-reviewed, double-blind scientific journal. Its purpose is to promote the dissemination of scientific publications derived from national or foreign research. The journal will receive manuscripts in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
The journal follows a continuous publication model, where articles, once accepted, are formatted and published in a single volume per year. For this reason, the call for submissions is permanently open.
Salud, Ciencia y Tecnología only accepts manuscripts that have not been previously published, nor are being evaluated for possible publication in another journal. If an article is published in whole or in part on the web pages of an event or congress, on a preprint server (SciELO Preprints, PMC, Plos, MedRxiv, etc) or academic social network (ResearchGate), the editorial office should be informed.
All articles are subjected to peer review, using the double-blind system, if accepted after the reviewers' opinion and final opinion by the editors, if accepted, it is sent to layout and published.
The times of the editorial process are as follows:
10 days for the first response from the section editor or pass to peer review.
30 to 90 days for the editor's response to the peer reviewers' observations.
1 to 7 days after approval, publication of the article on the journal's website. |
