| Journal Description : | In 2023, the Superior School of Magistracy of Paraíba – ESMA, as it celebrated its 40th anniversary, was able to solidify its efforts to strengthen legal education in the State of Paraíba, as it opened important spaces for reflection through continuing education and training, both for magistrates and civil servants.
As part of the process of continuing activities to strengthen legal education and research in the State of Paraíba, ESMA is pleased to reaffirm its commitment to continuing education through the launch of differentiated courses, the establishment of new partnerships and the expansion of existing ones.
Cognitio, a legal journal of the School of Magistracy of the Court of Justice of Paraíba, presents essential discussions in the field of law through the title The Multidimensionality of Law, whose main objective is to understand important legal aspects that permeate the daily life of society.
Globalization places us in an eminently differentiated social context, as it imposes the need to reflect on diversified themes in a concomitant way, such as, for example, trade, violence, cultural diversity and access to health.
There is no need to speak of autonomous and non-connected areas, since the legal world increasingly presents itself through a complementary scenario, since it becomes impossible to distance oneself from protectionist practices of Human Rights, which are capable of creating the essential assumption of this legal formation.
