Abstract : The current sensibility of the financial politics is able to concerned by economics and financial politics as a very important indicator in the applications process and admited by parametric studies in the general contain which has a very specific economics rules and the specific publical decisions making in the same process. The intimacy’s effectiveness is depends on the known conclusion of financial technique and the creatived economics balance together with the economics dynamics of conjecture in the same period that has the object of the balanced income and expenditure too. The phenomenon, in the current period, explains both the public deficits and the unexpected deviations of nominal balance in the element of optimal economic and financial balance. Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract : This study is aimed to analyse the perceptions of Turkey, the United States and NATO about the security problems which took place in Turkey’s neighboring area, and to demostrate their effects on mutual relations in the framwork of the Gulf Crises. In the post- Cold War period, the Gulf Crises caused some major policy divergences among NATO’s members. Turkey, particularly criticised the US and NATO for ignoring its security concerns and preferences in the solutions of these crises. The experiences of the Gulf War in 1991 and the Iraq War in 2003 displayed the essential disagreements on some defense and security issues between Turkey and its allies. The change in the nature of threats, defense policies, and the security perceptions, are the basic and the most important reasons of the Turkey’s problems with the US and NATO. However, the continuity of the bilateral relations based on security and defense remained during this period between Turkey and its allies. |

DETERMINING OPTIONAL REPLENISHMENT MODEL PARAMETERS WITH SIMULATION TECHNIQUE |
Author : İbrahim Zeki AKYURT, Emrah ÖNDER |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract : Many companies use replenishment inventory policies for avoiding high inventory level in low demand periods and avoiding inventory shortage in high demand periods. The study focus on optional replenishment policy based on periodical review model. Too many assumptions and difficult mathematical calculations make simulation necessary while determining model parameters of the policy. In this study, the technique is applied to A class raw material inventory of steal via real data of a company that produce espagnolette. Main goal is deciding the parameters (re-order and replenishment points) of stochastic model with simulation. Demand match with beta distribution and lead time changes between 1 and 4 weeks that fits uniform distribution. In this case periodic inventory policy can be used and the manager can decide whether replenish or not. |
