Abstract : Organizations are political fields where interest groups compete with each other in order to maintain their powers in the face of internal and external uncertainty, confusion, insufficiency and restrictions. In this sense, although the two phenomena (power-politics) that are the basic dynamics of organizational behavior and form internal connections with each other are as old as the organizational structure, they have become sine qua non of the organizational identity of our time. Since they are perceived as the axis of struggle of the organizations, various units have been formed and politics are devised within the organization towards criticizing politics In the light of the above information, the basis purpose of the current study is the investigation of the perception of employers in the field of distribution of power in İzmir press media organizations (on the basis of the difference between regional local press media) and the prevalence of political behavior. Cultural approach and contingency theory were taken as basis in this study. Power and politics have been analyzed theoretically in depth. Then the data obtained from the field study have been interpreted and the conclusion has been reached. |

Abstract : At this study; it is ivestigated; the sources of stress which negatively affect job performance of nurses who have important roles in preservation and re-acquisition of human health; and whose job is informing people about ways prophylaxis; being put into practice of the cure anticipated by the doctor in the case of menthal or physical diseases; planning, performing, supervising and controlling the patient surveillance etc. Related to this aim, it is tried to determine the sources of stress which lived by the nurses who work in State Hospitasl of two different cities which are situated in different geographical distincts but having similar demographic characteristics. It is determined that the sources of strees are like; exaggeration of turn of duty; visit demands of patient relatives outside the visit hours, being responsible to two different managers at the same time; lack of helding respect and interest expected etc. |

Abstract : In democratic societies, governments are not only responsible political issues but also economics. Voters firmly believe that success of incumbent government depends on success of economic condition of country. This makes an important area to analyze the relationship of politics and economics. Dimensions of this relationship are subject to size of country’s public sector. In theory, there are three approaches as i) social welfare function, ii) median voters theory, and iii) vote and popularity functions. The main objective of political economy is to maximize welfare of society. This policy arranged and applied by politicians whom have chosen by median voters. Because of the normative structure of welfare function, it is difficult to apply empirical analyses. Therefore, vote and popularity function preferred. This study is critically evaluating theory formation of politics and economic relations. |

Abstract : This paper investigates customer evaluation towards technological innovation which includes service delivery. It is searched the possible dimensions based on technology characteristics to be seen on customer judgment for technology based service delivery. In this explarotary research, the effects of the characteristics of technology and its level on the customer’s evaluation, which is related to technology based service delivery, are examined. In this context this study was conducted in retail banking sector. Customers’ judgments for mature (ATM) and new (Internet banking) technology are grouped by factor analysis. It is compared factor groups that is determined. The factor groups found are presented and commented based on the analysis mentioned. |

Abstract : The aim of this study to identify the corporate image perception of employees in hotels, its connection of the practices of public relations and the effects reflecting the target group. In this framework, a research done in ten lodging establishments in Antalya. Results of this study indicated that the function of public relations in hotel establishments has an important role in employees’ perception of corporate image and these perceptions are reverberated to the target group by the employees. Taking these findings into consideration, some suggestions showing how to make use of the function of the public relations to create, maintain and improve a prestigious corporate image of the managers are put forward. |

Abstract : Though developed countries have entered the knowledge age, industrialization attempts are going on at full speed in the rest of the countries of the world. In this context, it is seen that the issue of industrialization covers a fairly vast field of study in the literature of economics and the history of economics. Today, when industrialization and development are considered to have the same meaning, Turkey’s both attaining a sufficient economic growth and completing its structural transformation is possible provided that she achieves a competitive position in the world market by dint of taking her industry to a significantly higher level. Under these lights, the primary objective of this study is to show how much progress was achieved in the industrialization of Turkey from the Republic Period to the year of 24 January 1980 by analyzing the implemented industrialization policies in their chronological sequence. The findings have revealed that Turkey fell far short of the point desired, targeted, and aimed at in regard to industrialization even though there was a leap forward in industrialization from 1923 to 1980. |

Abstract : To examine the direct effect of perceived fairness on organizational citizenship behavior, data obtained from 44 white-collar employees working in sale department at a firm were used. Initially, perceived fairness and organizational citizenship behavior were defined and then correlation and regression analysis were performed according to the methodology of the research. As a conclusion, interactional justice was found to have a direct effect on identification with company, altruism toward colleagues, conscientiousness, and interpersonal harmony. |

Abstract : Women, as paid labour, participated to work force with the emergence of industrial revolution at the end of the 18 th.century, although they have been part of work (labour) with the beginning of human being. It has been supposed (assumed) that man and women workers are inequal conditions, but women workers being different from their men colleques in social and physiological sense, will be affected by the workplace conditions has lead us to conduct this research. In this aim, the problems that women, either manager or worker, face in the workplace and the reflections of these problems to their social life have been researched. The research has been limited to the shoping centres in Erzurum. It has been founded that women as manager or worker have not got enough work training, they start to work in early age, and also after mariage leave the job in early age because of the absence of social oppurtunities, nursery etc. in the workplace. Abstract : The role of the media is critical in promoting good governance and controlling corruption. Media not only raises public awareness about corruption, but also investigates and reports it. The effectiveness of the media depends on freedom of expression, acces to information and professional and ethical cadre of investigative journalism. In this article, it is examined how the media exposes corrupt officials, prompts investigations by official bodies, reinforces the work and legitimacy of both parliaments and their anti-corruption bodies and pressures for change top laws and regulations that create a climate favorable to corruption. It is also examined how to strengthen the media, highlighting private versus public ownership, the need for improved protection of journalists who invastigate corruption, press freedom and media accountability. |

Abstract :The aim of this study is to reveal the formation process of intra-organizational conflict stage by stage experienced in the hotels and to examine the correlation between intra-organizational conflicts and the organizational performance of the hotels. Consequently, in this study, we initially try to redefine the concept of conflicts, secondly to focus on the inevitableness of intra-organizational conflict in the hotels and finally, we try to analyze the formation process of intra-organizational conflicts and evaluate the correlation between intra-organizational conflicts and organizational performance. The intra-organizational conflicts that experienced in the hotels can, in general, be conceptualized in five stages: latent conflict, perceived conflict, feld conflict, manifest conflict and conclusive conflict. In relation with these stages, when intra-organizational conflict is as minimum as if non-existing this does not only cause stagnation in the organization but also interferes the formation of creative opinions and competition atmosphere ; on the other hand, the conflicts at a uncontrollable level may damage the organization. Therefore, intra-organizational conflicts should be managed in an optimum level by the hotel managers in order influence the organizational performance of the hotels in a positive way |

In the focus of this transformation takes place source of sovereignity and variation of its using. More clearly divine basis of empire and understanding of sultanate sovereignity left its place to national sovereignity in republic. Now sovereignity is belong to nation and on behalf of the nation authorized people uses this power. In other side, it has been lived important changings in every constitutional term on the understanding of sovereignity along republic period. More clear saying, there are two understandings in the republic period and corresponding to these understandings has been seen two kinds of constitutionalism trends in the context of liberal democracy doctrin. Abstract : This study tries to explore the relationship between inflation and GDP using cointegration in Turkey during 1987:1-2004:3 period. In order to determine the causality between inflation and GDP ,the Error Correction Method and causality tests are employed. According to the results there is two-sided causality between GDP and inflation in long run. However, in short run, there is only one-sided cousality from GDP to inflation. |
