Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract : Resear ch is the or derly investigation of a subject matter for the purpose of adding to knowledge. Resear ch can mean 'r e-sear ch' implying that the subject matter is alr eady known but, for one r eason or another , needs to be studied again (Bor g, W .R. and Gall, M.D. ,1989). Alternatively , the expr ession can be used without a hyphen and in this case it typically means investigating a new pr oblem or phenomenon. W ithin the r ealm of educational planning, many things ar e always changing: the structur e of the education system, curriculum and textbooks, modes of teaching, methods of teacher training, the amount and type of pr ovisions to schools such as science laboratories, textbooks, furnitur e, classr oom supplies, and so on. These changes may lead to an impr ovement, or a worsening, in the quality of an educational system (Hopkins, 1990). Sometimes they may r esult in no impact upon quality - in which case major government expenditur es on such changes have been wasted. The educational planner working within this kind of envir onment must be able to undertake assessments of the effects of major changes and then pr ovide policy advice that will consolidate and extend the post pr oductive courses of action, and also inter cept and terminate existing practices that ar e shown to be damaging and wasteful |

Abstract : Information Communication T echnologies (ICT) offer immense opportunities for the compr ehensive social and economic development of the people all over the world. W ithout the adoption, ther e is little chance for countries or r egions to develop. Ther e has been a lot of inter est during the last two decades in employing Information and Communication T echnologies (ICT s) for achieving development. While many of these initiatives have benefited rural women by way of access to new information and new employment opportunities, women still face a number of constraints in accessing ICT s. While ther e is r ecognition of the potential of ICT as a tool for the pr omotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women, a “gender divide” has also been identified, r eflected in the lower numbers of women accessing and using ICT compar ed with men. While most of the ICT initiatives ar e disseminating new information and knowledge useful for rural women, many ar e not able to make use of it, due to lack of access to complementary sour ces of support and services. Thr ough this paper I would like highlight the major barriers to access ICT s by rural women in India. Ther e is immense potential for ICT s to cr eate new employment opportunities for rural women in India and to contribute significant gains in efficiency and effectiveness in rural women enterprises. While ICT s can play an important r ole in empowering rural women, women's access and use of ICT s and empowerment clearly depends on the vision and operational agenda of the or ganization applying the ICT s. Future classroom learning involves a great deal beyond the use of technology and digital media. Living in a digital world as we do, students certainly need to learn to use the tools that have become essential to life and work. Future Class-rooms may provide a kind of learning environment that would focus not only on result oriented teaching but also satisfy the basic need of learners, thereby shifting the prime focus from 3 R's (reading, writing and arithmetic) to 4 C's (communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creative problem solving). Every child needs knowledge and skills to become as an effective citizens, workers, and leaders. There is a profound gap between the knowledge and skills most students learn in school and the knowledge and skills they need in communities and workplaces. Educated and literate individuals for global prospective are able to effectively communicate in a personal and professional manner, show personal and social responsibility, be effective time managers, use appropriate technology in given situations, and be able to apply their learning to multiple situations. Future century is expected to be stressful and therefore Yoga and Meditation should also be taught properly in schools. Adding global perspective to class-rooms of future, global education not only provides students with conceptual knowledge but also helps them develop life and career skills; learning and innovation skills; and information, media and technology application skills. Educational institutes can develop global perspective by including global education principles in their policy and curriculum. |

Conventionally colettienne works ar e distinguished into two important genr es; the novels written in the first person and when the author distances herself fr om her her oines and also blurs the boundaries between her imaginations and her collections of memories |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract : The landwar d displacement of the shor eline caused by the for ces of waves and curr ents is termed as coastal er osion. Coastal er osion occurs when wind, waves and long shor e curr ents move sand fr om the shor e and deposits it somewher e else. The sand can be moved to another beach, to the deeper ocean bottom, into an ocean tr ench or onto the landside of a dune. The r emoval of sand fr om the sand-sharing system r esults in permanent changes in beach shape and structur e. The impact of the event is not seen immediately as in the case of tsunami or storm sur ge. But it is equally important when we consider loss of pr operty . It generally takes months or years to note the impact of er osion; ther efor e, this is generally classified as a "long term coastal hazar d". The measur ed magnetoelectric (ME) r esponse demonstrated str ong dependence on the volume fraction of CoMnFe O and the applied magnetic field. A 2 4 lar ge ME voltage coefficient was observed for 25% CoMnFe O + 75% BaT iO 2 4 3 composite. The effect of r esistivity on ME voltage coefficient is studied |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Previous high-performance computing system have scaled in specific cases but the dynamic nature of modern client and server workload, coupled with the impossibility of statically optimizing an OS for all workloads and hardware variants pose serious challenges for Operating system structures. We investigate a new Operating System structures, the Multikernel that treats the Machine as a network of independents cores, assumes no inter-core sharing at the lowest level, moves traditional OS functionality to distribute system of process that communicate via message-passing. We have implemented a Multikernel os to show that approach is promising and we describe traditional scalability problem for operating system can be effectively recast using message and can exploit insight from distributed system and networking. An evaluation of our prototype on multicore system show that, even on present day macine, the performance of a multikernel is comparable a conventional OS and can scale better to support future hardware. Commodity computer system contain more and more processor cores and exhibit increasingly diverse diverse architectural trade offs, including memory hierarchies, interconnects, instruction set and variants pose serious challenges for operating structures. In our research paper will investigate and propose new OS structure, the multikernel, that treats the lowest level, and moves traditional OS functionality to a distributed system of processes that communicate via messagepassing |

Author : NAMR A T A PRAK ASH |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The term “viral marketing” appears to have first been coined by venture capitalist Steve Jurvetson in 1996 to describe the marketing strategy of free e-mail service Hotmail (Kaikati and Kaikati 2004). Since then, contemporary business literature has become somewhat enamoured with the concept. Terms such as “word- ofweb,” “word-of-mouse,” “customer-to-customer” (C2C), or “peer-to-peer” (P2P) communication as well as “buzz marketing” have also been variously associated with the process. Viral marketing describes any strategy that encourages individuals to pass on a marketing message to others, creating the potential for exponential growth in the message's exposure and influence. Like viruses, such strategies take advantage of rapid multiplication to explode the message to thousands, to millions. |
