ADIPOSITY |
Author : Zinat Ara Ahmed |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Focal adiposity, once in a while depicted as male example fat dissemination, is antagonistically identified with cardiovascular danger and mortality autonomous of different measures of weight. In a partner of 511 men matured 30 to 79 years in 1972 to 1974, levels of and rostenedi one, testosterone, and sex hormone-tying globulin measured at standard were conversely identified with resulting focal adiposity, assessed 12 years after the fact utilizing the waist-hip circuit proportion. The watched contrasts in waist-hip proportion in the middle of top and base tertiles of these hormones and sex hormone-tying globulin were like mean waist-hip proportion contrasts between men with stroke or ischemic coronary illness and those without in another imminent study. These discoveries, predictable with studies proposing that testosterone appears to assemble the stomach station on guys, recommend that "male example" fat circulation may be a deceptive depiction for focal adiposity, in any event, in men. Level of maleness as demonstrated by aggregate androgen levels may be, actually, contrarily connected with focal adiposity. Be that as it may, the part of sex hormone-tying globulin in directing androgenic action warrants further examination.

Author : Sabira S.D |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Child labour is conventionally defined to include all ‘economically active’ children in the age group 5-14 years. A person is treated as economically active or gainfully employed if she does work on a regular basis and receives remuneration for it. The ILO defied child labor as “work that deprives children of their childhood and their dignity, which hampers their access to education and the acquisition if skills, and which is performed under deplorable conditions harmful to their health and their development.” Child work, on the other hand, includes all paid and unpaid work for the household or for the market whether it is full time or part time. Participation in household activities on a regular basis and for several hours in a day to relieve adults for wage employment is also included in this definition. The ILO argues tat it sis not concerned with children helping in family farms or doing household chores.

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :In this article, the role of the press in the socio religious reform movements in India is discussed and special attention is given to Pandit C.Aiyothee thass’s weekly journal oru paisa Tamizhan and its social reformation ideas. It was coninuosly published every Wednesday from 1907 to 1914 by him. The social reformer got the freedom of expression from the British government because patriotic press had the difficulties to publish all those ideas of national leaders against British . But these type of obstacles were not faced by the social reformers the only thing they faced was opposition from the caste Hindus. The hegemony of upper caste pleaded for national freedom not about the social freedom or rights of depressed class only after the depressed class leader`s continuous struggle made think about not only British but also the native brotherhood. CONVENTIONAL BLACK- OIL DRY-GAS RESERVOIR SIMULATION BY IMPES METHOD |
Author : Maryam Barati , Feridun Esmaeilzadeh , Dariush Mowla and Fateh Tavakoli |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :As the importance of natural gas as an energy resource increases, the importance of dry gas reservoirs with mobile water as the dominant gas reservoir types will also increase. In this research an efficient, user-friendly simulation program specifically designed to model two-phase flow of gas and water in these reservoirs is developed. For this propose the Implicit Pressure and Explicit Saturation (IMPES) formulation of flow equations in which neither gravity nor capillary pressure terms are pertinent is used. The IMPES approach showed greater stability for all cases considered in this work. This program allows users to study the depletion behaviour of volumetric dry gas reservoirs with mobile water as efficiently and accurately as is now possible in more expensive commercially available reservoir simulators. The observed results of the program suggests when dealing with volumetric dry gas reservoirs there is no need to employ more expensive commercial reservoir simulators, as the program can reliably be used for any simulation scheme of this case. The program was validated by comparing the results with a well-recognized commercial reservoir simulator (CMG). The observed results of the program suggests when dealing with volumetric dry gas reservoirs with mobile water there is no need to employ more expensive commercial reservoir simulators, as the program can reliably be used for any simulation scheme of this case.

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Language and communication are known as body and soul. There are two types of communication such as Verbal and Non-Verbal skills. Language skills are known as LSRW skills which are known as Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Among these skills, speaking, reading and writing skills are much pronounced by policy makers, management domain, syllabus and classroom. There are very solid methods to develop these skills but sometimes we are titled as poor communicators. This is because of the poor category in listening skills. Corporate has identified this skill as one of the important soft skills and imparting this skill in pre and post recruitment training. In short, this is the base for other skills. Such an important skill is not properly planned from the school to college level in curriculum and only available method is lecture method through which students listen the lectures and comprehend latter. Listening skill is a process and has got more barriers. While these factors are still major determinants in the construction of a migrant’s life, Lahiri’s work reminds critics that the past decades have brought change, as the immigrants give birth to second-generation Indian-Americans who prove to struggle not only with the afore-mentioned topics, but also with a miscommunication and misidentification with earlier generations and within their own generation.

TACTICS OF POLITENESS IN BUSINESS LETTERS |
Author : Muayyad Omran Chiad |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Politeness has been widely discussed in the field of pragmatics by several studies in recent years, yet it has largely been ignored in business writing. The current paper is an empirical study of politeness in business letters as one type of written English. In particular, we were interested in if and how the business writers incorporate politeness indicators in their letters. Taking in consideration that politeness strategies establish the type of relation between the sender and the receiver, the analysis draws on the positive and negative politeness in a corpus of 82 randomly selected business letters written by native speakers of English. Because politeness increases with the degree of potential threat to the hearer, it is expected that business letter discourse is quite likely to involve various politeness strategies to minimize its negative impact on the reader's self-image. The analysis shows that there is an awareness of various types of politeness strategies, the language used to express politeness tended to be formal and more direct .

Abstract :Women characters in Dickens have often been seen as inadequate and have remained caricatures or types. Nancy, I shall argue, is an outstanding exception in Dickens’ early fiction. She is one of the most powerfully conceived and created characters in Dickens. She is the only character in ‘Oliver Twist’ who develops, or in E. M. Forster’s phrase, acquires “roundness” during the course of the novel. . Nancy becomes admirable in the quality of her suffering of her struggle in the face of a fate that she clearly recognizes to be inevitable.

THE METHOD OF REDIATING LOVING-KINDNESS (METTA BHAVANA) IN THERAVADA BUDDHISM |
Author : Thaw Bi Ta |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Metta means loving-kindness or having the desire to bring about the welfare of others. It is different from the love with attachment such as the love between men and women (Tahnapema). Loving-kindness has the nature of pure and noble goodwill (adosa), and it is also called the sublime state of mind (Brahmavihara). One who can cultivate loving-kindness is said to be living in the sublime abode. In fact, it is the highest form of love. It is much higher than sentimental, sensual love. The more sentimental love you have, the more hate you have and the more suffering you have because it is like fire which burns very easily. But Metta has a cooling effect like the soft touch of a gentle hand– soft by but firm without changing its sympathy. So it only creates a clam, pleasant atmosphere.
