MINIMIZAÇÃO DA INSTABILIDADE DA ASA DE UMA AERONAVE CARGUEIRA RÁDIO-CONTROLADA PROJETADA PARA SUPORTAR GRANDES CARGAS |
Author : José A. de Souza Júnior , Antonio Claudio Kieling , Rogério Nonato Silva Lima Júnior , Marcos Dantas dos Santos |
Abstract | Full Text |

Agricultural landuse efficiency may be defined as the extent to which the net sown area is cropped or resown. The gross cropped area as a percent to the net sown area give a measure of land use efficiency which means the intensity of cropping. The study of agricultural land use efficiency gives the idea about identify the problem region related to agricultural land use efficiency. |

This was the most important subject of his poetry. He discussed and described it in almost all natural things and human beings. The fields discussed are trees, animals, birds, air, sea, men, women, their politics, their relations, offices, streets, critics, plains and countryside. INTERACTIVE EFFECT OF CONSTRUCTIVIST APPROACH TO INSTRUCTION IN MATHEMATICS AND IQ OF STUDENTS ON THEIR SPATIAL ABILITY |
Author : Sati S. Shinde , Shefali Pandya |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :This paper attempts to ascertain the interactive effect of constructivist approach to instruction in mathematics and intelligence quotient of students on their spatial ability. For this purpose, an intervention programme based on constructivist strategies of about 38 hours was developed for students of standard eighth spreading over nine weeks. The aim of the research was to ascertain whether constructivist strategies-based instruction facilitates the spatial ability of students, and if so, for which level of intelligence quotient of students. Structured tools were used in study. The participants of the study included 48 and 52 students in the experimental and control groups respectively. Students were found to be significantly influenced by the intervention programme. Thus, it may be said that the intervention programme based on constructivist approach to instruction is found to be effective in enhancing spatial ability of students. The effect size of the intervention programme on spatial ability of students was found to be 0.427 which is small in magnitude. There was no significant effect of IQ as well as the interaction effect of treatment and IQ on students spatial ability.

EFFECT OF ELLAGIC ACID ON CIRCULATORY ANTIOXIDANTS AND LIPIDS DURING IRON-INDUCED TOXICITY IN EXPERIMENTAL RATS |
Author : S.Palani, D.Santhakumari, S.Balachandar and S.Ambika |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Ellagic acid (EA) is a naturally occurring polyphenolic compound that exhibits antioxidative, anti-inflammatory, anti-hyperlipidaemic and anticarcinogenic activities in a wide range of assays both in vitro and in vivo. It occurs in various foods such as strawberries, grapes, walnuts, etc. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of ellagic acid on Iron-induced changes in the circulatory antioxidative status, micronutrients and lipid levels in a dose-dependent fashion. Male albino Wistar rats weighing 180–210 g were used to assess the effects of EA against Iron-induced damage. Three different concentrations of EA (15, 30 and 60 mg/kg body weight) were tested against Iron via intraperitonial administration. At the end of the experimental duration of 10 days, we evaluated endogenous antioxidants: both enzymatic (superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase) and non- enzymatic (vitamin C and E, and reduced glutathione) status, micronutrients, lipids: cholesterol, triglycerides, free fatty acids and phospholipids in the circulation. EA significantly inhibits Iron-induced toxicity by restoring antioxidant status, modulating micronutrients and attenuating the lipid levels in the circulation. The greatest inhibitory effect was observed with 60 mg/kg body weight of EA in all the biochemical assessments and could be developed as a potential for Iron in the near future.
