We have made an effort to study the unsteady flow of viscoelastic fluid between two parallel plates with uniform suction and injection at the walls. The corresponding solution for steady flow has been obtained by Srivastava [16]. MAKE IN INDIA: A LION’S STEP TOWARDS INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT |
Author : Harpreet Kaur |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Infrastructure is one of the most important pillars of any economy, and is certainly the most essential factor that distinguishes the leaders from the laggards. The right infrastructure helps in propelling the growth of an economy. Unfortunately, the Indian infrastructure is marred with under-capacity and largely insufficient in almost all of its key areas. It is a major constraint to the overall development of the country and the successive governments have failed to achieve the investment targets fixed from time to time which have left the country with dire deficits in this critical area. The World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report (2015-16) has ranked India 81st out of 140 countries for its insufficient infrastructure. As a good infrastructure is the backbone of the manufacturing sector, so government of India is required to take a big leap in this direction to revive the poor show of the manufacturing sector of India. To give a boost to the manufacturing sector, PM Narendra Modi has launched the ‘Make in India’ campaign. Under this campaign, the government is taking various initiatives to reduce the infrastructural gap by spending around $1trillion in the 12th five year plan. Not only that, the government is also trying hard to combat various challenges and the roadblocks to the infrastructural development like corruption, land acquisition reforms, environmental clearances, government policies, etc in order to attract the investment from the investors inside and abroad.

PREPARATION AND VALIDATION OF SOCIAL ROBUSTNESS SCALE |
Author : Sherine Vinoca Snehalatha , S. Parthiban |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Knowledge about the social robustness is essential for every individual to structure his / her lifestyle. More importantly, teachers’ perception about social robustness is crucial for the general public as well as for the high-ups in the political circle as they are the promoters of change in the society. However, a valid and handy instrument for assessing teachers’ perception about social robustness is not available in the field of education. The present rating scale has been structured on the basis of its identified constructs – social goal orientation, social security, and social justice. Special care has been taken to keep the length of the tool as short as possible to generate valid data quickly from the teachers. The usability and appropriateness of the tool has been established by testing its content validity, item validity, construct validity, and factorial validity. The computation of Cronbach’s Alpha established the reliability of the tool and its internal consistency. The researchers have provided the details of the constructs of tool and the scoring scheme along with the final form of the instrument.

STEPHEN.L.TALBOTT’S REPRESENTATION OF “DREAM” AND “WAKEFULNESS” IN AWAKENING FROM THE P RIMORDIAL DREAM |
Author : Akash Deep |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Human beings have not yet realized the full terror and
responsibility of existence. It is through our minds alone that the human being passes like that swaying furious rider on the hayrick, farther and more desperately into the night. He is galloping across the storm-filled heath of time, from the dark world of the natural toward some dawn he seeks beyond the horizon. Across that midnight landscape he rides with his toppling burden of despair and hope, bearing with him the beast’s face and the dream, but unable to cast off either or to believe in either. |
