Author : P.Satya Shree Sai Ram, Mr.S.Yuvaraj |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Time-triggered protocols like FlexRay have been gaining ground as the standard for high-speed reliable communication in the automotive industry, marking a shift away from the event-triggered medium access used in Controller Area Networks (CAN). This paper describes an FPGA-based communication controller which features configurable extensions to provide functionality that is unavailable with standard implementations. It is implemented and verified on a Xilinx Spartan 6 FPGA, integrated with both a logic-based hardware ECU and a fully-fledged processor-based ECU. We demonstrate that the flexible extensions help enable advanced applications that integrate features like fault-tolerance, timeliness and security.

SUBSTANTIATING THE CORRELATION OF AN ARCHITECTS FUNCTION WITH PERCEIVED AESTHETICS AND IDENTITY CONCEPTION, EMPLOYED IN ARCHITECTURE FACULTY, IN CHARGE OF BRAIN JUDGMENT |
Author : SHAHRIAR NASEKHIAN, SEPIDEH POUSTINDOUZ |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :This study aims to deliberate the effects of perceived senses and potentials, derived from design of
Architecture faculties, on the brain initiatives and responses leading to the creativity of students. This
research demonstrates while students, as prospective architects, are in possession of their privilege by
studying in specialized environment, then, they will have more appropriate and merit outlooks throughout their future calling. It will be extrapolated that architect`s function would be influenced strongly by the former imposed environments. It would be manifested through a conducted survey on the 4 groups of Iranian Architecture students who study in Architecture faculties in Isfahan province of Iran. This
research by results of the survey and in recognition of query methods, analyze the repercussion of perceived aesthetic and identity of Architecture faculty designs on the Architect`s brain procedures and decision making for design. The implication, leads to proper apprehension given to the architects of
Architecture faculties toward how to design a suitable faculty, regarding the intuition of students, who areconsidered as prospective architectswhile studying in campus, which ultimately leads to their final principal design functions, so that the future faculty design would be under the consideration of
principals in which its architects try to employ aesthetics and identity. Findings also substantiate that
identity judgment of brain about a design relies on a network by the brain cortex, including the
underlying evaluative assessment of social, cultural and moral cues derived from that design. |

Author : Nikit Kumar, Pency Juneja |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Gross Domestic Product is one of the most economic factors. Importance of GDP forecasting needed Because during the period of 2007 to 2009 Indian Economy was Suffering from Recession and GDP growth rate also affected by Recession .By Observing Past Experiences it have seen that the variances in
the GDP economy got up and down. Simulated annealing is one of the crucial algorithms which can be used to optimize the weight value of the Artificial Neural Network. Back Propagation algorithm process the weight values from back to forth. but here simulated annealing algorithm consider all the weight
values together and process to all these weights to find optimal weights.SA algorithm here improves the performance over the BPN.SA technique can be apply on a specific application by knowing the input and output parameter. Forecasting is helpful to decrease the uncertainty in the economy.

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Advancement in the field of communication has led to high speed data transfer in many audio and video applications at affordable rates. Wireless Interoperability for Microwave Access is one the technology that is used for this purpose. It includes the process of compressing, modulating the signal, Inverse Fourier Transform and cyclic prefix addition at the transmission end. It also includes the cyclic prefix removal, Fourier Transform, demodulation of the signal and decompression at the receiver end. The compression ratio and the signal to noise ratio is also found. In this paper, all the process involved in the design of W-Max Transceiver is discussed. Here, a framework that proposes energy mapping techniques such as task and core mapping is also discussed and the results are
compared. All the components used in this Wi-Max Transceiver are modelled using Verilog HDL and the processing unit (PU) type used is the Nios II Processor. The area and the maximum frequency is obtained using Quartus II software.

Author : T. Praveen Kumar, Mr. R. Prithiviraj |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Static leakage power consumption and ground bounce noise at nanometer scale are two important parameters, to keep in consideration are compactness and power which affects the performance of any VLSI circuits. Full adder is the vital part of digital circuits which employ arithmetic operation. Adder
circuit is widely used in many digital circuits for arithmetic operation as well as an adder for address generation in many processors and microcontrollers. So we need to choose which one should be employed in large scale system at higher speed. It is necessary to make these systems more efficient so as to survive with high speed while consuming low power. As the speed of the circuit increases, the most unwanted parameter that is exhibited by the circuits is ground bounce noise .This paper here describes how the reduction of leakage power and ground bounce noise from the 14T full adder circuits can be
made to make it more reliable to be used with high speed system. All the simulation in this paper has been carried out using tanner eda tool.

POWER QUALITY ENHANCEMENT IN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM USING INVERTED SINE PULSE WIDTH MODULATION APPROACHES WITH DVR |
Author : T. Sridevi |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :This paper describes the enhancement of Power quality in a power system by reducing the harmonics using various modulation techniques in DVR( Dynamic Voltage Regulator. Application of power electronic equipments and nonlinear loads in recent years leads to harmonic interference problems in a power system. The harmonic currents generated by the loads will cause a voltage drop across source impedance which
causes decrease in power quality. Inverters based on Voltage Source Converters (VSC) are widely used as a basic component in DVR. These controllers produce voltage harmonics due to switching operation of power electronic converter. The harmonics in the output voltage of power electronic converters can be reduced using Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) switching techniques. In this paper, inverted sine PWM switching techniqueshave been developed for controlling of VSC based inverters which has lower Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) than conventional techniques and they are also used for power quality enhancement.

COMPUTER SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENTAL STUDY FOR CALCULATION OF SLAB SLIP FORWARD FACTOR IN FINISHING ROLL AREA OF HOT STRIP MILL OF MOBARAKEH STEEL COMPANY |
Author : Mohammad Eghtesad, Samad Javid, Mojtaba Rasouli |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Slip forward factor of work-piece is one of fundamental rolling parameters and its accurate calculation
makes the calculation and determination of friction factor and accurate calculation of roll force possible.
By knowing the state of friction of the rollers, one can prevent skidding which causes inappropriate
deformations of the work-piece.
In consecutive rolling stands to obtain the start up motor speed, first, the speed of work-piece in stand
output is calculated and then by calculating the slip forward factor of work-piece in that stand, the linear
speed of the roller will be calculated and then, angular speed of the main motor of the stand will be
determined. Therefore, calculating rollers speed and their motors necessitates calculation of this factor.
In this article, an effective method for measuring the slip forward factor in finishing rolling stand will be
explained. Slip forward factor in each of finishing rolling stands is calculated through an empirical
formula. This empirical formula contains some constant coefficients which in this research will be
calculated by an identification method. |
