RECYCLING OF SOLID WASTES INTO ORGANIC FERTILIZERS USING VERMICOMPOSTING |
Author : G.M.KIRUPAHARAN |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Increasing human population, urbanization and change in life style has increased the wasteload and there by increasingpollution loads on the urban environment to an unmanageable and alarming proportions. The existing waste dumping sites are full beyond capacity and under unsanitary conditions leading to pollution of water sources and spreading communicable diseases, foul smell, release of toxic metabolites, unaesthetic ambiance and eye sore etc. Vermicomposting is the better option to tackle with
this problem. This project focuses on recycling process of vegetable waste fruit waste by adopting Vermitechnology. |

REVIEW OF SOLID WASTE TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES |
Author : Prem Kumar Dara, Bol Puoch Deng, Abiyot Mamo Terfa |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Waste management is a complex task involving numerous waste fractions, a range of technological treatment options, and many outputs that are circulated back into society. Zero waste is a latest visionary concept for confounding waste problems of our society. Implementing zero waste concept in modern societies is challenging. However, recent developments in solid waste management technologies gives some hope in this aspect. This paper provides some insight into these technologies, parameters for effective implementation. |

AN IMPROVED FRAMEWORK FOR ASPECT-BASED OPINION EXTRACTION FROM CUSTOMER REVIEWS |
Author : M. Lovelin Ponn Felciah, R.Anbuselvi, Ph.D. |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Text is the key method of communicating information in the digital age. Blogs, messages, articles, reviews and opinionated information overflows on the Internet. Many people purchase products online and post their opinions about purchased items. The posted reviews helps others customers to make better decision to purchase the product .Extracting the needful data and summarize it as a useful information still enhance the decision making process ease and efficiently. The work focus on the accuracy of extraction by combining different techniques from three major areas, |

SPATIOTEMPORAL SUB PIXEL MAPPING OF TIME-SERIES IMAGES |
Author : Raghava M S |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :LCLU monitoring is a trending topic of research now. Sub pixel mapping (SPM) can be used to extract the LCLU information of by dividing the pixels into sub pixels. Application of SPM technique for Time series images (TSIs) is a very rare condition or topic of research. This paper includes research work conducted on TSIs using the SPM technique for LCLU monitoring. In this work both the spatial and temporal dependencies are considered simultaneously. The spatial dependencies are considered by
correlation of the sub pixels within each image whereas the temporal dependencies consider a correlation of sub pixel classes betweenimages |

GREEN SYNTHESIS OF SILVER NANOPARTICLES USING PLANT LEAF EXTRACT IN SEWAGE WATER TREATMENT |
Author : S.Sharmila, Dr.A.Sirajunnisha |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Water treatment became the most worried topic all over the world. The main source of water pollution is sewage water. Therefore it is necessary to purify and recycle the sewage waste water. In the study is aimed at finding suitable as low cost adsorbent for removal of contamination in sewage water.A
green approach to the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) using plant extract are low cost and more efficient than standard methods of synthesis. The prepared silver NPs were characterized using ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy. |
