“YOU SEE THE CORNER OF HER EYES / TWISTED LIKE A CROOKED PIN”: THE IMAGE OF WOMAN IN T. S. ELIOT’S EARLY POETRY |
Author : Maha Qahtan Sulaiman |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The image of woman in T. S. Eliot’s poetry forms an essential part of its moral structure. Eliot’s image of woman is functioning as a symbol of; on the one hand, a decadent civilization and futile existence; on the other hand, regeneration and salvation. This indicates his acknowledgement of the significant role woman plays in the refinement and cultivation of moral values within the family, society and the world at large. In the early poetry, Eliot depicts a sterile corrupted world and a dwindling civilization, empty of any spiritual meaning. The image of woman in this poetry is of the same quality: dead in life, shallow, frustrated, a debased type, forming part of what Eliot calls a waste land. She is the true reflection of a chaotic world, heading towards its ultimate ruin |

There are in the game of volleyball a number of basic skills that in turn need a high level of physical and skill abilities and these skills (overwhelming transmission), as we find the transmission skill is the first skill of volleyball that the team starts the game in order to be able to earn points directly as that The sending player, if he manages to reveal the defensive weaknesses in the reception of the opposing team, then he achieves the direct points of his team and given the importance of the explosive ability that the researcher tried to study because it is the best way by which to achieve the goal, and accordingly, the importance of the research lies in the effect of the exercise T heavy ropes in the development of explosive power and precision transmitter overwhelming plane ball.

Abstract :The emergence of electronic technology in the world and training techniques made researchers put their hands on what was produced by this technological revolution, subjecting the movements of technical gymnastics to advanced devices
and kinetic analysis laboratories, including the dinafoot device that simulates the actual performance of skills by giving accurate kinetic indicators where it gives corrections about pressure areas that are exposed It has the foot and the ruler on the surface of the earth, as it gives data for the corners of the foot during the steps of walking or running and measuring the force applied to the feet at each step. |

Author : Hayder Abdulqader Neamah, Prof .Dr. Usama Ahmed Hussein |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The Importance of the research was in paying attention to training flexibility by designing and applying exercises with
different styles static stretching (positive and negative), ballistic stretching, PNF and dynamic stretching). The problem of the research was in diagnosing weakness in all types of flexibility. The aims of the research were using exercises with different styles and identifying their effect on flexibility. The researchers hypothesized statistical differences in favor of the post tests. The researchers used the experimental method. The sample was (142) soccer players aged 13 – 14 years old from the national center for gifted in soccer while the subjects were (19) players. The pretests were followed by the main experiment for (16) weeks with two training sessions for (9 – 11) minutes for each types of stretching.
