IMPORTANCE OF INSTITUTE OF DIRECTIONAL RESEARCH IN INDIA |
Author : A Bag |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Despite of numbers of IITs, IISERs, NICER, NITs, Universities and Research Institutes in India which are in full active mode, a new kind of institutes are required for fast, productive and speculation free development of rural and urban India. Through database analysis and field survey analysis I have reached to the conclusion that only an institute which would be able to bridge between academics and society, can improve our society with flawless solidity and chaos-less integrity. An architectural design of such an institute is proposed in this article.

DEMOCRATIZING METHODOLOGY |
Author : Nandita Bagchi |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :This paper is a critique of the mainstream methodology adopted by scientific research. The epistemology of science construes science as an insular, autonomous pursuit. Its insularity from the society at large is expected to enhance the objectivity of scientific reports of reality. The traditional methodology of science is devised to fortify scientific objectivity. Kuhn, Hanson, Lakatos- among others, raise questions about the aperspectivity of scientific claims. Curiously, Kuhn highlights the role the sociology of the scientific community in the genesis of scientific knowledge, |

DISCOVERING FREQUENT ITEM SET USING CONFABULATION-INSPIRED ASSOCIATION RULE MINING |
Author : Ms. T. Malathi, Dr. T. Senthil Prakash, Mr. K. Arun |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :In recent years, the development of computer technologies, such as data storage and data base management systems, has enabled storage of huge amount of data. Data mining techniques are methods for obtaining useful knowledge from these large databases. One of the main tasks of data mining is association rule mining (ARM), which is used to find interesting rules from large amounts of data. A new confabulation-inspired association rulemining (CARM) algorithm is proposed using an interestingness measure inspired by cogency |

INTERNATIONAL STANDARD FOR THE RIGHTS OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE |
Author : SOLEMWON RAMSON |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The issue revolving around indigenous people is a contentious and a complicated one. Violation of human rights on indigenous people has been massive and widespread. It has been a long road for the
indigenous people to bring recognition at the international level and to formulate their protection in international law. The establishment of Working Group on Indigenous Populations (WGIP) has been a significant development in the process of making the United Nation Declaration for Rights of Indigenous
People (UNDRIP) and bringing it to a reality |

A STUDY ON CONSISTENCY OF PERFORMANCE OF STUDENTS IN COMBINED ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (ASSAM), BOARD EXAMINATIONS AND EXAMINATIONS IN BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING PROGRAMME |
Author : Pulak Bhattacharyya |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Consistency refers to reliability or uniformity of successive result or events. Consistency of performance refers remarkable uniformity throughout a particular academic area. Consistency of performance indicates long range progress of academic achievements of individuals. It is generally assumed that the students who showed better or higher performance in the starting classes of their studies also performed better in future academic years. The present study is an attempt to find out the consistency of performance in the Combined Entrance Examination (Assam), Board examinations and Semester Examinations in Bachelor of Engineering Programme |

THE PRACTICAL REALITY OF GOAL SETTING THEORY: EVIDENCE FROM THE PERFORMANCE OF NURSES IN THE SUNYANI REGIONAL HOSPITAL OF GHANA |
Author : Dr. Felix Kwame Opoku |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Several studies on goal setting theory have shown that goals direct and sustain employee effort toward goal-relevant activities and away from goal irrelevant activities. Although the theory is a common research topic in most advanced countries, it is gradually being tested in other cultures such as the Sub-Saharan Africa. The current study, therefore, is an extension of existing research on goal setting theory as it describes the core elements of the theory, and how it relates to the performance of 100 registered nurses in the Sunyani Regional Hospital in Ghana. Consistent with some previous studies, a significantly
positive relationship between goal acceptance, goal specificity and employee performance was found. Surprisingly, goal difficulty failed to support this relationship. |

CONTROL OF TEMPERATURE IN BIO-DIGESTER USING PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL (PCM) |
Author : M.Annal Rajam, S.Rajakumar |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :A comprehensive review of control and maintenance of temperature in bio digestion process is presented in this paper. Maintaining a temp level of about 40 to 60°C, the optimum temperature for thermophilic bacteria’s growth and activity, is crucial for obtaining the best results with respect to biogas production in bio-digesters. This study investigates the utilization of phase change material (PCM) to control and maintain the optimum temperature of 45°C around it. For purposes of this study, a dome type digester is chosen as experimental set up, which is then to be incorporated with PCM
around the walls. In this review, the rate of gas production is found to be increased and the retention time is decreased with the elimination of insulations. The main objective of controlling the process temperature to obtain a high yield of biogas is highlighted in this paper. |

COOLING LOAD CALCULATION AND DESIGN OF AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IN AUTOMOBILE |
Author : B. Paul Vinofer, S.Rajakumar |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Air conditioning system is necessary in automobile to maintain the comfort condition. Therefore it is important to study transient response of vehicle under real driving conditions. The Heat Balance Method (HBM) is used for estimating the heating and cooling loads which develops inside the vehicle cabin. The
Load Calculation of Automobile Air Conditioning System is calculated and presented. An hourly cooling load is calculated in Tirunelveli region with respect to its latitude. Tons of refrigeration required is also found out from the cooling load calculation and a review on cooling load calculation is also presented |

ELLIPTIC CURVE CRYPTOGRAPHY FOR MESSAGE AUTHENTICATION IN WSN |
Author : Manjula M, Dr.T. Senthil Prakash , Ms.Ramya Raveendran |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Message authentication is one of the most effective ways to thwart unauthorized and corrupted messages
from being forwarded in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Message authentication schemes have been
developed, based on either symmetric-key cryptosystems or public-key cryptosystems which, have the
limitations of high computational and communication overhead in addition to lack of scalability and
resilience to node compromise attacks. To address these issues, a polynomial-based scheme was recently
introduced. However |

THE EFFECT OF GENDER ON MENTAL FLEXIBILITY OF SCHOOL TEACHERS |
Author : Dr.Shraddha Verma |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The Indian academic profession is a large and diverse group with more than 50% teaching exclusively at the school level. Academics everywhere are conservative when it comes to
institutional change and have generally opposed reform. In almost every country and in almost every historical circumstance the fraternity has opposed change in institutions (Andre Batellie
[1990] chitins and Philip. G., Altbach (1979), (The Indian Academic Profession, Macmillan, New Delhi). The Indian academic fraternity is no exception to this rule and as a result has been a
significant stumbling block to reform. |
