The study highlights the status of Open Access repositories in the field of Physics &Astronomy. The repositories were identified from OpenDOAR. Data collected is systematically analyzed based on selected parameters viz.number& types of OA repositories, language used, contents, software used & country wise distribution of OA repositories in the field of Physics & Astronomy. The study reveal that OpenDOAR lists 112 repositories in the field of physics & astronomy.

Drug abuse and addiction are serious and major public health problem that impacts society on multiple levels in developing India. The abusable drugs such as ganja, charas,nicotine, heroin, cocaine etc. takes a tremendous tariff and continues to threaten the future of our society. Injury, physical problems, mental illness and death are often the effects of drug abuse. It has been clearly established that the relationship between drug abuse and criminal behaviour. For this reason, it also plays a role in many major social problems such as loneliness, drugged driving, robbery, domestic violence, group clashes and other violent crime. It harms unborn babies, destroys families and social relationships. Again, drug trafficking and narco-terrorism are the burning problem in modern time all over the India as well as the whole world. These situations forced us to consider social and psychological issues such as: has drug abuse really become such a social problem on modern developing India? Why is adolescence a critical time for preventing drug addiction? What leads to drug abuse and addiction? To respond to these questions, we need to discuss some points. The present paper is focused on nature and impact of abusable drugs and also examines the various health, social, financial, drug trafficking and narco-terrorism issues which related to facts and problems of drug abuse and addiction in developing India.

The present study is stated as Effect of Yogasanas Practice on obesity of School Going Students In Yavatmal City. The research scholar selected this problem because of fast life style and hoteling which may result increasing obesity in school students and increasing obesity means there are more chances of diseases. So the scholar wants to know the effect of yogasanas practice on obesity of school going students. The main source of data for the present study was 40 girl students of yavatmal city. The subjects were selected randomly and have divided into two groups namely control group and experimental group. Each group is of 20 students. The study was delimited to female students up to the age group of 15-18 years. The basic aim of the study was to improve the physical fitness of students. The training program of yoga was given to the experimental group.The duration of training programme was six weeks. To analyse the data the‘t’ test was employed on the ratio of 0.05 level of significance. The statistical analysis of data i.e. means, S.D and t-test were computed through SPSS 16.0 programme by the investigator. From the findings it was observed that insignificant difference between pre and post test of Experimental group.

A lesser amount of studies about the real living experience of women are available in Jammu and Kashmir for domestic violence victims. This present study attempts to redress the victim’s stories, understanding their home-life situations. In this perspective a feminist, a qualitative approach was employed to explore the women victim’s accounts in relation to impacts the domestic violence, barriers to violence disclosure, as well as useful resources for support of women victims in dealing with domestic violence. Semistructured interviews were conducted with 30 women who identified themselves as victims and survivors of domestic violence perpetrated by their family members, husband or in-laws. Six major themes were identified and studied as described by the participants, Which include in Family life Issues social, economic and gender gap and impacts include physical injuries, mental stress, a growing faith as well as adverse effects on the children and on the women’s self-worth. The study also found that many of these abused women were reluctant to disclose abuse because they wanted to conceal it due to their perception on disclosing marital affairs, they were concerned about the children’s well-being, lacking knowledge on the provisions of support available for domestic violence victims in the state. Further, the women’s misunderstanding of Islamic concepts such as disobedience to the male partner has made disclosing violence experiences difficult. Over and above this, it was found that the mechanisms of domestic violence resource provisions are worthy of investigation.

In the process of poverty eradication and reducing gender discrimination, the governments have been implementing various schemes and programmes providing ways and means towards women development and empowerment, SHG movement, one among such programmes which has been proved successful in fulfilling its objectives. However, it is felt that the other schemes and programmes do have their prominent part in the process of women development and empowerment and which are being successfully implemented. The present proposal is an attempt to develop conceptual clarity of the term empowerment delineating it with several other overlapping concepts of gender equality, social inclusion, powerful etc. and suggest and advocate an inclusive approach of policy measures whereby the Government working towards an empowerment approach develop ways enabling women themselves to critically review their own situation and participate in creating and shaping the society as agents of change and economically empowering themselves.

However, India still facing a problem of Infant Mortality, malnourishment and undernourishment, especially population under 5 years of age is also high among the world. Health system in India presents a poor show in the world today and an immediate action should be taken on to tackle this problem. Although expenditure is concern, in India expenditure on the public health is very low; in the every five year plan public health care has been a neglected issue. Accordingly, anyone can understand that, public healthcare sector in India go through the problems like poor governance and underfunding. In rural-urban comparison again the diversity is found and it understands that rural health scenario has worse than the urban.

This paper attempts to analyze the growth and performance of PACs and explore the progress of PACS between 2004-2014, in India. They are organized and operated on the basis of co-operative principles. The agricultural contribution to GDP is significantly declining at a rapid pace (14.5% in 2010-11). As per 2011 census about 68.8% of the population resides in rural areas, depending directly and indirectly upon agriculture for their livelihood. Therefore development of agricultural sector is inevitable. PACs continue to be the main sources of agricultural credit to the farmer in rural areas.

This article aims to address crimes of passion, analyze the law Maria da Penha andfemicide being those crimes motivated by passion, excessive jealousy, since many of these are caused by a sequence of factors involving uncontrolled passion, obese and compulsive jealousy, a question of honor, legitimate defense among thousands of reasons for such action, being more affected by men. These punctuations that lead to crime of passion should be clarified in a detailed way as it deals with laws such as Maria da Penha, which protect women against violence that often begins with small domestic abusers and run into drastic stories such as homicide and sequels that can endure for the whole life of this being. All need security and have their rights put into practice in the real situations, every crime of passion must be solved and legally put into practice before the laws. The methodology used was a qualitative, exploratory descriptive research, of an integrative review of the literature. A total of 20 articles were collected from the Portal de Periodicals / CAPES and PubMed, Scielo.org and Scielo.br databases covering Passion Crimes; Maria da Penha Law and the Law of Feminicide; crime trends even with the Law of Feminicide.

The child with cancer suffers from the dilemmas of hospitalization, and the adequacy of the hospital routine that causes discomfort, hostility and painful and invasive procedures are associated with the presence of nursing professionals. Conclusion: The result obtained in this research allowed to identify the deficiency of the study related to the proposed theme. The integrative review points out in the literature the playful resources adopted by the nursing team, as well as the difficulties pointed out.

Introduction:Childhood cancer is considered a public health problem, due to the increasing number of this pathology today. Despite several studies on the subject, the causes are often not predictable because they go unnoticed, because their signs and symptoms can be confused with other pathologies.Objective:To identify the care of the nursing team in the chemotherapeutic treatment of adolescents. Methodology: An exploratory descriptive study that used qualitative research. The universe of the study was 10 adolescents in chemotherapy treatment, being. 03 of the masculine gender and 07 of the feminine, having as study site the Foundation of Hematology and Hemotherapy in the city of Manaus. Results and Discussion:It was possible to identify the adolescents ability to create conditions to alleviate the stress caused by the disease, treatment and hospitalization, thus overcoming this moment of treatment with such aggressive protocols and uncertainty about the cure of their illness. Conclusion:Understanding the expectations, feelings and needs of adolescents regarding chemotherapy treatment is extremely important for nursing in the process of planning the care provided to this group that has specific characteristics and needs.

There are various myths popular among people, supporting the non-vegetarian diet and its nutritional advantages. The consumption of non-vegetarian food is growing fast in India. These myths are the main driving forces for increasing the numbers of meat eaters. Eating a non-vegetarian food has become a fashion and status symbol now. Conversely the developed countries are now getting more and more attracted to the vegetarian diet. The researchers came to know that, vegetarian diet is found to be more healthy, natural, environment friendly and ethical diet on Earth. The aim of this article is for enumerating the countless benefits of vegetarian diet. The study shows that, an appropriately planned vegetarian diet can provide all the essential nutrients adequately. The ample phytochemicals, antioxidants, flavonoids, fibers, vitamins and minerals found in vegetarian food make it not only healthier but also delicious. These micronutrients mostly found in vegetarian food only proved to be more useful in the prevention as well as treatment of various diseases. The purpose of this article is for studying and highlighting the benefits of vegetarian food and not for opposing the non-vegetarian food. The facts supporting the healthiness of vegetarian food are searched and mentioned in the article. Thus in conclusion it can be said that, the consumption of vegetarian diet containing cereals, pulses, nuts, fruits and vegetables with variety of colors is highly nutritious and most healthy in all stages of life.

This study, in the form of descriptive analysis aims to analyze the supposed correlation between variables forces and their implications, their different behavior, on issues involving hospitalizations observing the behavior of each variable, including those built on different population basis, justifying the possible causes and consequences of the occurrence thereof. For this, variables such as "hospitalization for intestinal infectious disease in less than 1 year" (Int M) and "hospitalization for intestinal infectious disease in less than 1 year per capita” (Int PC M) were used, as well as some variants derived from these two, obtained from secondary data by DATASUS and SEPLANDE in 2010, to make correlations using Microsoft Excel. The primary analysis showed weak correlations but not zero, where all seven observed variables increased Pearson’s coefficients of the first with respect to the second variable. There was a difference of correlation forces when compared to variables constructed under different population basis, as well as the interference of per capita factor. In addition, the survey sought to assess the problem, identify possible causes, suggesting specific actions and specific and complementary studies. It highlights the seriousness of the problem so that specific public policies and more resources can be implemented as preventive actions for hospitalizations due to intestinal infectious diseases in the state of Alagoas.It also suggests the expansion of primary health care services in all municipalities of the state of Alagoas, the number of hospital beds, equipment available for the Unified Health System (SUS), to reduce the number of deaths from such admissions. Limitations of this study are: the small number of variables used and the possibility of proceeding with another statistical test to validate the onesconducted.

In this backdrop, the objectives of the study are: a) To explore the key growth drivers of e-tailing in India; b) To study the advantages and challenges of etailing in the Indian context; and c) To outline the future road-map of e-tailing in India in view of the present trends. The study is based on secondary data which are collected from various journals, business magazines, newspapers, reports, web materials and research studies. Analysis of data has been made keeping the objectives of the study in mind.

A sea of change has come upon teacher education, offered through B.Ed degree course since the academic year 2015 – 2016 when the two year B.Ed programme was introduced with the withdrawal of one year course as per the direction of the NCTE. The major reason attributed for such a switch over was that the one year programme is too small a time to meet with all challenges in equipping the aspiring teacher trainees with all essential teacher qualities. The ideal teacher behaviour formed of essential knowledge, skills, and humane values is necessary for the blossoming teachers too. Therefore, the government of Tamilnadu accepted the proposal of the NCTE and took over the system of two year B.Ed programme for preparing teachers for secondary and higher secondary classes.

According to 2011 census the literacy rates of India is 74.00% and Kerala is the least literacy education state 93.9%, despite these high records still a group of people including rural and tribal sector far away from the mainstream development. The representation of tribes in secondary education, higher education and employment is unsatisfactory. Socio-economic constrains as well as poor technical education level are the main barriers to tribal development. In this context, this paper is trying to analyze the basic facilities and knowledge of Information Communication Technology among tribal sector with special reference to tribal youth of Kerala. Euthanasia is popularly known as ‘Mercy Killing’. The word ‘Euthanasia’ consist of two Greek words i.e. ‘eu’ and ‘thanatos’. ‘Eu’ means ‘good’ and ‘thanatos’ means ‘death’. Thus, the literal meaning of the word ‘euthanasia’ is ‘good death’. The definition of the term ‘euthanasia’ is given by the House of Lords Select Committee on Medical Ethics as “a deliberate intervention undertaken with the express intention of ending a life to relieve intractable suffering; an act which must inevitably terminate life”,1 The term ‘euthanasia’ is also defined by the Netherlands State Commission on Euthanasia as “the intentional termination of life by another at the explicit request of the person who dies”.2 Thus, the general meaning of the term ‘euthanasia’ is that the person requests or takes the help of another for killing himself in order to relieve himself from terminal illness or suffering.

The youth are, and will remain, a significant share of Indian’s population for the ICT foreseeable future. Developing and implementing appropriate strategies, policies and programmes to mitigate the risks and challenges they (the youth) face must be Impact of the ICT much more of a priority for the government than it currently is. Any failure to provide appropriate opportunities for this large segment of the population could have enormous economic, political, cultural, and social consequences. ICT Impact engaging the youth population fully is therefore no longer a choice but an imperative in the development process. This work advocates for, and analytically discusses, strategies for engaging the youth through empowerment, education, and employment.

Parental involvement in the schools is important for parents, teachers, and students, parents are not always involved with the children’s schools. It is important to note that the quality of the relationships between parents and school influences children’s and adolescents’ school success. Achievement motivation can help people accomplish their goals in their lives whether at work in their personal life or school. Therefore it becomes necessary to help the students, parents and teachers to involve in their children’s education. The present study was conducted to study the effect of parental involvement on the achievement motivation of primary school students. The findings of the study reveal that parental involvement has a significant effect on achievement motivation of male, female and rural students. However, parental involvement has no significant effect on achievement motivation on urban students.

From the year 1990 onwards grapes cultivation and production has been increased tremendously in Western Maharashtra. Due to that farmers are facing problem of grapes marketing and as farmers are getting better price, farmers are making raisins on a large scale from grapes. These cold storages are proving profitable for rural raisin producers. Some storage owners are having their own vehicles, which they use for quick transportation as to maintain quality of raisins. Generally cold storages provides job for local workers. As most of the works are from rural area. These workers are working in un organiased sector so they received less salary. For fulfillment of essential needs, they take loan. Sixty respondents randomly selected from two villages were interview using structured questionnaire. The study founds most of the respondents obtained loan through self-help groups. This paper focus on monthly salary, saving habits and sources and uses of loan by cold storage workers.

Banks play an active role in the economic development of a country. Their ability to make a positive contribution in igniting the process of growth depends to a great extent on the way the banking policies are pursued and the banking structure is evolved. The work environment is highly influence the work performance of the employees. After demonetization the banks are busy with customer regarding the bank transactions, with out the adequate facilities the employees unable to complete the task. This study is descriptive in nature. The researchers selected Trippur city for this present study. The data collected during the months of August and September 2017, it is based on primary data collection. The convenient sampling method is used to collect the data from the respondents. Eighty respondents were selected for this study from the study area. The percentage analysis used to present the socio economic profile of the respondents and co efficient Correlation used to find out the relationship between the socio economic factors and level of perception on work environment. The bank staff are having more stress in their work place because of repetition of work and work burden. The staff are searching the place and peoples to reduce their job stress. Bank work is full and full finance matters, the staff could not post pond their work like some other job. Evening after work they rush up to reach their house. In this time the work environment should be peace full and conducive. This study analyzed the work environment of bank employees and given some suggestion to provide conducive work environment.

In Thisstudy investigate the service quality of the customers in two types of hospitals. Now quality has become an icon for customers while availing any services or buying a product and it is also a strategic advantage for the organizations to gain success and remain competitive in the market by delivering superior quality of services or products based on customer requirements. For this purpose SERVQUAL instrument was used to measure the patients perception about service quality delivered by these hospitals. Five service quality dimensions; empathy, tangibles, assurance, timeliness and assurance were used in order to measure the patients perceptions about the service quality of government and private hospital located in Sedam Taluka.
