Abstract :The purpose of this study was to determine the difference among two groups of tennis players on the variables of from and skill scores of tennis forehand and backhand drive. The forehand and backhand drives are tested on the same court at the same time. The student will stand in the receiving position at the center mark of the baseline. The teacher will be on the other side of the net hitting balls to the student being tested.

Abstract :The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of core strength training on selected motor ability variables of college men handball players. To achieve the purpose of the study, (n=30) college level men handball players were randomly selected as subjects. The age ranged from 18 to 25 years. They were assigned into two equal groups of fifteen subjects (each group), namely, Experimented Group and Control Group. Experimental Group was experimented with core strength training, whereas the Control Group was not exposed to any experiment. The selected motor ability variables selected for the study are speed, leg explosive power and upper body strength. Before the experimental period, pre test was conducted for all 30 subjects on selected motor ability variables. After the experimental period of eight weeks, post test was conducted and the scores were recorded. |

Abstract :The aim of this study was to find out the influence of physical exercises and surya namaskar practices on selected health related physical fitness components of college women. 60 college women studying in Arul Anandar colleges in Madurai District were selected randomly and divided into three groups consisting of 20 in each. Group I underwent physical exercises (PEG), group II under went suryanamaskar training (SNG) and group III was acted as control group. The PEG group was provided with different types of physical exercises, consisting of walking, jogging, floor aerobic exercises and step aerobic exercises for 12 weeks and SNG group underwent, slow, medium and fast variations of suryanamaskar. Health related physical fitness variables, cardio respiratory endurance and muscular strength were measured prior to and after experiments.

Abstract :In order to construct a scientifically designed to assess the specific physical fitness test battery for bowlers, this paper aim to construct the Specific Physical Fitness Test of Bowlers in Cricket. A 16 experimental test items purported to measure Speed, Strength, Endurance, Agility, Flexibility, coordination and Balance were Administered to 25 Players of North-Zone level intervarsity cricket players. The age ranged from between 18 to 25 years of age. The collected data was subjected to factor analysis (SPSS VERSION 17.0).

Abstract :The purpose of the study was to compare the selected job related variables between male and female directors of physical education in Chennai city. To achieve the purpose of the study each 20 male and female directors of physical education were selected at random and their age were between 40- 45 years with a teaching experience of 8 - 10 years. The following job related variables such as job satisfaction, job involvement, productivity, quality of work, in time reporting and absenteeism. Job satisfaction and job involvement were assessed by the scale developed by Dubey, B.L. Uppal K.K and Verma S.K (1989) and Ashok Praptap Singh (1989). The scores for the productivity, quality of work, in- time reporting and absenteeism were collected from the official records of the college. The collected data were statistically analyzed with independent ‘t’ test. The result of the study shows that there was a significant difference between the male and female directors of physical education in the selected job related variables. The result of the study also shows that the male directors of physical education were better in job satisfaction and productivity in work than the female directors of physical education . Further the result also shows that the female directors of physical education were better in job involvement, productivity, quality of work, in-time reporting, and regularity of work than the male directors of physical education.

Abstract :The purpose of the present study was to find out the impact of high and medium intensity aerobic dance on lower back and hamstring flexibility among high school boys. To achieve this purpose, forty five (n = 45) high school boys were selected as subjects at random. The age of the subjects were ranged between 13 and 15 years. The selected subjects were further divided into three equal groups such as high intensity aerobic dance, medium intensity aerobic dance groups and the control group of fifteen (n =15) each. The training groups were underwent for systematic high and medium aerobic dance training for twelve weeks duration as three sessions in a week.

Abstract :Aim: The purpose of the study was to find out relationship betweenCompetition State Anxiety and performance among female basketball players. Material and Method:80female basketball players, who participated in north zone inter university women basketballchampionship, held at Kanpur, U.P.in November 2014 were selected for this study. Their age ranged between 17 to 28 years.The data on sports competition anxiety was calculated by administrating SCAT (Sport Competition Anxiety test-2) by R. Marten few hours before the competition to the inter university women basketball players. Statistics:The statistical technique used was Pearson’s Product Moment Method of correlation to find out any relationship in between Competition Anxiety and sports performance of female basketbball players. The significance of ‘r’ correlation was seen with 64 degree of freedom and at .05 level of confidence for inter university women basketball players. Conclusion:There is significant relationship was that between Competition Anxiety and sports performance of inter university women basketball players.

Abstract :Nine individuals from a female volleyball group served as exploratory subjects keeping in mind the end goal to look at changes in a physical wellness profile amid the focused season comprising of a first season (I) for 10 weeks took after via season II for 11 weeks. Abstract :The purpose of the present study to find out the effect of selected plyometric exercises for development of muscular strength and power of state level kayaking players in Nasik city. The sample for the present study consists of 20 male state level kayaking players whose are practiced K.T.H.M. college boat club in Nasik. The subject are divided in two group i.e. control group (N=10) and experimental group (N=10) between the age group of 18 to 25 years. Plyometric exercises such as Medicine ball overhead throws, medicine ball side throws, medicine ball over back toss, medicine ball chest pass, medicine ball incline chest pass, medicine ball vertical toss, medicine ball catch and throw back hand, medicine ball power drop, plyometric push-ups etc. were given three times a week for eight weeks for experimental group and controlled group were given regular kayaking practice. To assess the arm muscular strength and power of kayaking players to push up for strength and Medicine ball throw for power test. This study shows that due to the plyometric exercises there is a significant improvement of experimental group in the arm muscular strength and arm muscular power of kayaking players.

Abstract :The purpose of the study was to comparative effect of exercise and yogic asanas on body mass density of adults. For the purpose of the study, two experimental groups underwent training programmes of exercise training (Group-A), and yogic asanas training (Group-B) training programmes for an experimental period of 8 weeks. The control group (Group-C) continued with regular programme only. The groups were consisted of 15 subjects each. The pre and post test data were collected before and after the experimental training programmes. The subjects were selected from Lovely Professional University Phagwara (Punjab). The age level of the subjects ranged from 18 to 25 years.
