Abstract :Aim: The Purpose of the study was to compare the degree of aggression between senior level batsmen and bowler. Methods: The study was delimited to the fifty players (twenty- five batsmen and twenty five bowlers) who had participate in Inter University Cricket Championship were selected randomly as the subjects for the study. The age of the subjects were ranging from 18 – 28 years. The Study was further delimited to the assessment of aggressiveness by using aggression questionnaire of Anand Kumar and P. S. Shukla. It was hypothesized that there would be no significant a difference between the Batsmen and Bowlers on the degree of aggression. For the purpose of analysis of data ‘t’ test was employed to compare the degree of aggression between batsmen and bowlers. Result: There was a significant difference between the means of batsmen and bowlers on the scores of aggression since the obtained value of t (2.78) was higher than the tabulated value. Conclusion: The aggression level of bowlers was found to be higher than the batsmen.

Abstract :The aim of this study is to find out the effect of isolated and parallel core strength and mobility training on selected bio motor variables among cricket players. 60 male school level cricket players from Tamil Nadu were selected randomly as the subjects and their age ranged between 14 to 16 years. The selected subjects were divided into four groups, namely, isolated core strength training group (ICST), isolated mobility training group (IMT), parallel training (combination of both core strength and mobility training) group (PTG) and control group consisting of 15 cricket players in each group. The experimental period was 12 weeks. The experimental groups were given the respective treatments.

Abstract :The purpose of the study was to compare selected physiological variables between male Boxing and Judo Players. This study was conducted on 30 subjects, 15 from each Game (Boxing & Judo), the age ranged from 18-25 years. The Physiological variables selected for the study were Vital Capacity, Resting Pulse Rate, Positive Breath Holding Capacity, and Resting Respiratory Rate. The t-test was used at 0.05 level of significance. Result showed that there is statistically insignificant difference between the means of male Boxing and Judo players on the scores of vital capacity, resting pulse rate, positive breath holding and resting respiratory rate.

Abstract :The purpose of the study was to find out the differences on the selected physiological variables among Hockey, Handball and Football players of university male players. The subjects in this study were 60 athletes (20 from each group) of age 19±25 years chosen from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G.) and shortlisted through purposive sampling. The variables tested in this study were vital capacity (VC), Peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR), resting pulse rate (RPR) and resting respiratory rate (RRR).

Abstract :The purpose of this study was to determine the precise effect of circuit training on skill ability of badminton players. Twenty male college level badminton players were selected randomly and divided into two groups and the skill ability of both groups was tested by employing French Short Service Test. An eight weeks circuit training program was imparted to experimental group and data of pre-test and post-test were collected. Circuit training was not given to control group. The findings pertaining to the study resolved with significant improvement of skill ability of the players who have followed an eight week circuit training schedule along with their normal training schedule. The overall statement has been proved statistically by comparing data collected from both the groups by using paired t-test.

Abstract :The present study was conducted to compare the reaction time of inter college male Soccer Players with respect to their playing positions. These players belong to Maharishi Markandashwer University, Mullana. The study was carried out on 50 male players, 25 offensive and 25 defensive players. The offensive players include forwards and the defensive players include midfielder, full backs and goal keeper. The data was collected by the use of electronic chronoscope. Electronic chronoscope is used to measure the visual and audio reaction time. The data was analyzed and compared with the help of statistical procedures in which, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, standard error deviation, and t-test were employed.

To achieve the purpose of the study, Sixty (60) IX standard school boys of non-participants of sports and studying in Government Schools of Solur, Narasapura, and Mudavadi, Tumkur District, Karnataka were selected as subjects randomly.
