Abstract :The purpose of the present study was tocompare the level of job satisfaction among teacher educators in different types of secondary teachers’ training institutions in Mysore.A survey-based descriptive research design was used. The study was carried on teacher educators working in education colleges in Mysore University. About 165 survey questionnaires were distributed in 2011.Multiple follow ups yielded 134 statistically usable questionnaires. One way ANOVA was used to confirming the research hypotheses.Findings of this study revealed that there is no significantly difference between teachers from government and private institutions with reference to their job satisfaction in Mysore.

Abstract :The purpose of this research is to analyze the unemployment in Maharashtra. Maharashtra is the third largest state with total geographical area of 9.4% of India. There are about 42 lakh unemployed in state with an addition 5,lakh per year. In Maharashtra there are two type of unemployment: Rural unemployment - Maharashtra rural unemployment rate is 2.7% of India. Urban unemployment - Maharashtra urban unemployment rate is 4.8% of India. The causes of unemployment are rapid population growth, limited land, excessive use of foreign technology, etc. The effects of unemployment are rise in poverty, loss of human resource, social unrest etc. The research paper has given measures to solve the unemployment by population control, reforms in education policy, rapid industrialization etc. and there are some special programs organize by Maharashtra government.
