Abstract :This study is about the control mechanism being followed by the IT industry to combat the employee attrition. In this Study particular reference has been given to the policies being followed by the IT industries in controlling the attrition. The study is done on particularly IT industry, as it is well know fact that attrition is more in IT industry hence controlling attrition is very important for IT industry. In this study the possible reasons of the attrition has been incorpora- ted and studied further the strategy adopted by the IT companies to control the attrition has been evaluated. The pur- pose of the Study was to know what are factor that affect the decision of the employee to leave the organization and aims at assessing the attrition policy of the IT companies. These resea rches has assessed the policies of both Indian IT and Foreign IT companies’ and have tried to understand the best possible policies, which will help to reduce the attrition rate of companies.

Abstract :Compensation management is one of the most important Human Resource management function in an organization. Many organizations, fails to achieve their organisational goals due to improper compensation management practices. The Compensation system is very difficult task for every organisation. A good compensation system helps to reinforce the key corporate values and facilitate the achievement of organizational objective. A good compensa- tion package is important to motivate the employees to increase the organiza tional productivity. Thus, compensation helps in running an organization effec- tively and accom- plishing its goals. Salary is a part of the compensation sys- tem, the employees have other psycho- logical and self-actualization needs to fulfil. Thus, compensation serves the purpose.
